I did something bad guys…I signed up for another subscription. I’ve been watching Fabfitfun unboxings for a while now and when I found a coupon for Memorial Weekend (which if I’m being honest I know next to nothing about, it’s not a Canadian holiday) that gave me two extra items in my box I couldn’t say no! Lo and Behold the Fabfitfun 2016 Summer box has made it to my door.

This is my first lifestyle subscription. I’ve mostly subscribe to beauty boxes and the occasional tea box, but I’ve been wanting to branch out and try a lifestyle box. Each Fabfitfun box has at least one fitness themed item included which I was really looking forward to as fitness is an important part of my life.
Seriously, how cute is the summer box!?!? It actually came inside a bigger box which my cat quickly laid his claim to…
Trina Turk Tote $55
I saw two spoilers for the box prior to subscribing. The first was this Trina Turk Tote bag. I believe that this was made specifically for FabFitFun as I can’t find it anywhere on the website. $55 seems like stretch for a tote bag, but all of Trina Turk’s bags look expensive. This tote is huge, the cat even fits inside it! Subscribers either received a tote in yellow, blue, or orange.
Dream Big Summer & Rose Yoga Towel -$36
I was very happy with this spoiler. I workout at home with a yoga mat and have been thinking about trying out a yoga class but I didn’t want to have to rent a towel. PROBLEM SOLVED! This is Fabfitfun’s own brand and although I’m happy with this item I find the price tag a little hard to believe. Subscribers either got the towel in pink, orange, or baby blue. I was hoping for Orange!!
Betchsicles Ice Pop Molds $19
Here’s another Collab with Fabfitfun that you won’t find anywhere else. Made by Betches, these are perfect for making cold treats on hot summer days. I was considering ordering some popsicle trays from Amazon so these are perfect! I wish they were a little bigger but they’re so cute!
Stemulation Daily Microderm Scrub $34
This is a huge bottle! It smells citrusy and the granules are small enough that the exfoliation is gentle, not harsh.
Passport to Beauty Lipgloss in Flower Child $18
This lipgloss came in three different shades. I’m not really a fan of lipgloss to be honest and I found this one to be rather sticky. Other subscribers have said it’s very lightweight and not at all sticky so I don’t know why this feels so thick to me. I’ll probably throw this in my beach bag when I’m camping next week as it’s not something I would worry about losing on a trip.
FabFitFun Everyday Beach Waves Spray $18
Words can’t even describe how excited I was over this!! I was seeing salt sprays everywhere and I really wanted to try one. This is a perfect edition to the summer box, it has a lasting ocean salt smell and light hold for easy beach wave styling. It was a little weird to get so many FabFitFun branded items but I’m not complaining about this one.
Osea Atmosphere Protection Cream $48
This is a natural product formulated to be a barrier from environmental damage. It says to apply under sunscreen or makeup so I’ll still need some SPF for this summer. It’s lightweight and will get used on days when I’m not planning to be outside much. This cream is supposed to work as a moisturizer and primer.
Fruit Infuser Water bottle $14.99
I know this is an item from a previous box and FabFitFun must have a ton of them, but I only have one functional water bottle and I’ve been wanting to try a diffuser for a while. I’ve been using this for a few days and it works pretty well! My go to right now is peaches and watermelon, and next time I go grocery shopping I want to try cucumber and mint.
Pur~lisse SPF Moisturizer $55 ($15)
I find it a bit crazy that this 1.7oz moisturizer is $55, but the Fabfitfun shop has it on sale for $15. It’s such a small bottle, I would never ever pay full price for a tiny bottle like this! I have tried the Pur~lisse 4 in 1 blue lotus eye serum and liked it so I’m hoping for good results with this moisturizer. I recently ran out of my Arbonne SPF moisturizer and have been wanting to try out some new products.
Sponsored Item: Burts Bees BB Cream and Compeed Instant Blister Relief
FFF likes to include sponsored items in every box as an extra. These are not included in the overall value of the box. I’ll try out the BB bream, and I’m sure the blister patches will come in handy at some point. I like that the sponsored items fit the Summer theme of the box.
I’m thrilled with Fabfitfun! I’ll use everything, including the sponsored items. The Value of the box is over $200USD as promised. One of the things I love about subscriptions is getting to try things I never would have gone out and purchased for myself. And let’s face it, who doesn’t want a fabulous box delivered every three months!? I’m loving it!
