Hey everyone, I hope your weekend is going well! It’s supposed to snow again here tonight so I’m not too thrilled with that but we did have a few days of warm weather. My house even heated by a degree on it’s own for once, I was so pleased! Snow may be coming this week but I’m still feeling like Spring is in the air, especially since I’ve been filling our home with fruity and floral candles. Today’s post is my Top 5 Candles for Spring!
This candle has so much throw, it makes our whole main room smell nice. You can really smell both the Pineapple and the Mango, it’s like a tropical vacation! It also has notes of raspberry. I’ve been burning this one a lot in the background when I film for Youtube! 🙂
I absolutely adore coconut scents. This candle is more subtle than the Pineapple Mango but I’ve been burning it quite a bit lately. I often keep it in the office because it’s potent enough to make a small room smell nice but not enough to fill up our living room. The coconut really comes through! It has notes of “island pineapple, freshly-sliced mango, lush papaya, and coconut milk infused with sugarcane and Tahitian vanilla”.
This candle can be purchased at Chapters. It was on the pricey side at $19CAD but I smelled it in store and absolutely had to take it home. It seems to be very slow burning as well, I’ve burned it for several hours and there isn’t a huge dent in the wax. The scent has notes of “cantaloupe, watermelon, grapefruit, floral accord, red fruits, musk and coconut milk” according to the online product description. I guess I gravitate towards coconut!
Voluspa makes some of my favourite candles. Their Ebony & Peach candle is my absolute favourite, I have four of them in case the scent ever gets discontinued! This amaranth & jasmine candle is the perfect Spring frangrance, the floral notes are really pretty and remind me that soon I’ll be able to grow flowers in my backyard again.
I remember getting this candle as a gift at some point last year, I can’t remember when. These mini voluspa tins have such a great throw, they fill up a room with scent just like the 3 wick Bath & Body Works candles. This candle has notes of apple, magnolia, and oakmoss so of course it makes my Spring Candles list!
