12 Of The Best 2017 Beauty Advent Calendars

Best 2017 Beauty Advent CalendarsIt’s that time of year when we start to think about Christmas gifts for loved ones and the occasional treat for ourselves. I’ve already had my first Caramel Brulée latte from Starbucks and have been constantly stalking the Sephora Holiday sets for the perfect deal. And let’s not forget that this is the prime purchasing time for Advent Calendars! Here’s my favourite 2017 Beauty Advent Calendars..

2017 Beauty Advent Calendars: The Body Shop

#1 The Body Shop Advent Calendar
I unboxed one of these calendars last December. The Body Shop’s Advent calendars have 24-25 bath and body gifts to unbox each day leading up to christmas. There are four TBS calendars available this year ranging from $69CAD to $169CAD. I picked one up for my Mom, I’m sure she’ll love it!

2017 Beauty Advent Calendars: Lush Advent Box

#2 Lush Advent Box
The lush calendar is a 12 day gift box full of Lush products and retails for $114USD. As an avid bath taker I would looove this calendar. Lush isn’t something that I often treat myself to because of the price point so having 12 days of lush sounds like a fantastic way to relax over the holidays. And how cute is the snowman bubble bar!?

L'Occitane Signature Advent Calendar

#3 L’Occitane Signature Advent Calendar
I got the L’Occitane Signature Advent Calendar for my Mom last year and she absolutely adored it! L’Occitane strikes me as a luxurious brand so it’s a great way to treat someone you love (or yourself!) to something nice. As far as beauty advent calendars go this one retails on the lower spectrum at $69CAD.

2017 Beauty Advent Calendars: L'Occitane Luxury Beauty

#4 L’Occitane Luxury Advent Calendar
If the L’Occitane Signature Advent Calendar isn’t quite luxurious enough for you, you can try the L’Occitane Luxury Advent Calendar. It’s quite a bit more expensive at $134CAD but you get the best of the best with this option.

2017 Beauty Advent Calendars: Look Fantastic Beauty Wonderland

#5 Look Fantastic Beauty In Wonderland Advent Calendar
The Look Fantastic Beauty Advent calendar always seems to sell out in record time. It’s still available though, for $115USD it could be yours! Included are 9 full sized beauty products and 16 deluxe sample sized products.

2017 Beauty Advent Calendars: Bare Minerals

#6 Bare Minerals Box Of Wonders
This is a 24 day advent calendar that retails for $97CAD at Sephora. It contains lip products, eye shadows, face powders and more. I don’t have a lot of Bare Minerals products so I would love this Calendar!

Essence Bring The Bash Advent Calendar

#7 Essence “Bring The Bash” Advent Calendar
If you or someone you know adores affordable but great quality makeup, this Essence Advent Calendar would be a great option. It’s inexpensive at $39.99USD compared to just about all the other beauty advent calendars available right now and you get 24 gifts to open leading up to Christmas. This calendar is currently only available on the US Essence Makeup website.

2017 Beauty Advent Calendars: Benefit Cosmetics

#8 Benefit Cosmetics SF Winter WonderGLAM Calendar
The Benefit Cosmetics Calendar was briefly available in the UK for £34.50 before it sold out.  I couldn’t find it on the Canadian or US websites. The calendar contained 12 deluxe sample sized Benefit Cosmetics products from their Roller Lash Mascara to the Hoola Bronzer.

2017 Beauty Advent Calendars: Ciate

#9 Ciaté London Mini Mani Month Nail Polish Set
If I didn’t have so much nail polish from Sub Boxes I would definitely be ordering this Ciaté nail set! You get a new nail colour for each day leading up to Christmas! This set is sold at Sephora for $70CAD and there’s also a Ciaté 12 Days of London makeup calendar which retails at Sephora for $71CAD.

2017 Beauty Advent Calendars: Ulta 12 Days of Beauty

#10 Ulta 12 Days of Beauty
The Ulta 12 Days of Beauty is also an affordable option as far as Beauty Advent Calendars go. It retails for $22CAD on the Ulta Global website and contains 12 Ulta beauty products.

2017 Beauty Advent Calendars: Ole Henriksen

#11 Ole Henriksen 12 Days of Glow
The Ole Henriksen Skincare Advent Calendar retails at Sephora for $82CAD and contains 12 skincare minis for achieving glowing holiday skin. The skincare minis range from cleansers to scrubs to serums to eye cream.

2017 Beauty Advent Calendars: Charlotte Tilbury

#12 Charlotte Tilbury Naughty & Nice Advent Box
Okay, this box is WAY out of my price range at $250CAD and I was trying to keep this list on the more “affordable” side of things, but I HAD to include the Charlotte Tilbury advent calendar. There is always so much hype around this calendar and I see bloggers unboxing CT calendars every year for Christmas. Included is 12 Charlotte Tilbury makeup and skincare minis. If you can afford it (big if there) why not!?

Which advent calendar are you hoping for this December!?

There are so many advent calendars out there and I couldn’t possibly include all of them, but these are the ones that I would personally love to unbox this holiday season. Let me know your favourites, and as always thank you so much for reading. If you enjoyed this post please support this blog by joining my email list on the side bar <3

I love advent calendars! I just ordered the Body Shoo one, can’t wait for December 🙂 X

    • November 11, 2017 / 10:25 am

The waiting is so hard! Enjoy your calendar! ☺

  2. November 11, 2017 / 4:49 am

I love advent calendars, I wish more brands did them!

    • November 10, 2017 / 11:16 pm

Me too! Even if they weren’t Beauty related I’d love to see more

  3. November 10, 2017 / 6:44 pm

I’m dying for a beauty advert calendar this year, I’ve been dropping hints that I’d totally except it as an early Christmas present 😉

    • November 10, 2017 / 11:17 pm

I hope someone takes the hint! Which one are you hoping for Sarah?

      • November 11, 2017 / 8:45 pm

The Benefit one does look great, that it The Body Shop, although I’d be more interested in that if it had more face mask stuff 😊

        • November 11, 2017 / 11:14 pm

Yeah the body shop one is mostly shower gels and stuff like that. It would be nice to see more of their skincare products in the boxes!

  4. November 10, 2017 / 4:09 pm

Been drooling over the Lush Calendar for the last couple of years 😍

    • November 10, 2017 / 4:10 pm

Their calendars are the cutest! Have you ever got one?

      • November 10, 2017 / 4:44 pm

I haven’t 😮 but I’ve saved a bit of extra cash this year and might splurge! 🎉 I even calculated it (because I’m a dork 😅) and the box value is almost exactly that of if you were to buy each product individually, slightly more because of the packaging. 🙂

        • November 10, 2017 / 11:19 pm

Treat yourself! Especially since it’s just a once a year thing, opening a gift each day feels so special!
I don’t think that makes you a dork, I always calculate the value sets and subscription boxes that I buy 😅 Or maybe I’m just one too!

          • November 11, 2017 / 2:14 pm

You are so right! 😊 you’re just the encouragement I need haha!
We are just savvy shoppers! 😜

          • November 11, 2017 / 11:12 pm

Haha exactly! Glad to help 😁

  5. November 10, 2017 / 12:35 pm

Omg these are great! My mom used to get me the ones with chocolate in them but I’ve fallen in love with the beauty versions. Sephora has one too in the US that looks pretty good!

    • November 10, 2017 / 2:33 pm

I remember getting those too! Advent calendars have really come a long way since then, now there’s something for everybody 😄 I saw the Sephora one too! It sold out incredibly fast, I wish they had stocked more. Thanks for reading!

  6. November 10, 2017 / 12:33 pm

I really can’t decide which one! Some are so expensive, and the less expensive ones are not always good. Are you getting one?

    • November 10, 2017 / 2:31 pm

It’s so hard!! I bought my mom one of the body shop calendars, she’s had eye surgery recently so she can’t wear any eye makeup so a bath calendar seemed like the best option.
She then surprised me with the L’occitane luxury beauty calendar 😳 I was really surprised, I’m excited to open it next month!

      • November 10, 2017 / 4:13 pm

OMG! How could you wait? I’d be ripping into it! lol

      • November 10, 2017 / 4:45 pm

And, I nominated you for the blogger recognition award!

        • November 10, 2017 / 11:22 pm

It’s really hard not to look at the spoilers on the back 😅 I let myself look at day 1 already, but no more! And thank you so much for the nomination! Ill go read your post! I don’t often have time to write my tag posts but I appreciate you thinking of me so much! 💕

  7. November 10, 2017 / 12:02 pm

It’s so hard to choose a christmas calendar when there’s so many out there. I would love to try the Bodyshop one or Locitane 😀 Btw I saw the Essence Calendar on a Germany site that ships worldwide 🙂 Unfortunately it’s currently out of stock, and I don’t know if they’ll restock it :/

    • November 10, 2017 / 12:04 pm

Its so hard!! There are so many out there it’s crazy. I wish there were some more affordable calendars out there for every budget. I hope the essence calendar starts shipping everywhere!

    • November 10, 2017 / 11:58 am

You’re going to love it! Which one did you get out of the four?

      • November 11, 2017 / 12:05 pm

I got the one that is exclusivec at ulta! The one you have in the first picture with the purple color scheme 🙂

        • November 11, 2017 / 11:10 pm

I didn’t realize that Ulta had an exclusive one! I hope you love it! ☺

  8. November 10, 2017 / 9:06 am

I think the idea of advent calendars is adorable! I haven’t entirely convinced myself to get one yet though, because you sometimes end up getting items you’re not interested in, kinda like beauty boxes. The designs on the Look Fantastic and L’Occitane Luxury box are gorgeous!

    • November 10, 2017 / 11:57 am

That’s so true, and for the price you want to make sure you like everything! Each company lists what comes in the box but it also ruins the surprise 😮

      • November 10, 2017 / 12:12 pm

Exactly! I can see how knowing what is in the advent calendars is a pro and a con. It IS a really good way to try out products from a particular brand though!
