For those of you who haven’t heard of Fabletics, it’s a monthly subscription service for activewear. Each month Fabletics releases new outfits you can purchase at a VIP rate starting at $50US/month, or you can skip the month. For a first time subscriber you can get your first outfit for $25, or if you wait for a holiday there’s normally a 70% off sale. As I’m obsessive about anything subscription box and anything fitness this was right up my alley!

My outfit choice this month was Scilla, a two piece outfit which comes with a pair of salar capris and a cute tank with a side braid lace detail. The outfit arrived in a plastic packaging bag instead of a box, which meant the post carriers could just stuff it in my mail box. My cat enjoyed playing in the bag! xD
The tank fabric was different than I expected, from the picture I assumed it would be a soft cotton material but it was actually a nylon moisture wicking fabric. I’m totally okay with that, especially in the summer when I’m sweating like mad from the heat! I LOVE the lacing braid design on the sides, If I’m wearing patterned leggings the design can be seen through the cutout.
I am in love!! Just look at how vibrant the print is! The fabric is a little bit thicker than I’m used to so I probably won’t wear them outside on hotter days, but they are super comfortable and I’ve been wearing them around the house since they arrived. The fabric is a bit stiff so I’ve been finding it a little bit difficult to do leg raises in these, but I think it’s just a matter of breaking them in. They also aren’t see through at all when doing squats or lunges!
All in all a very cute outfit. Personally I still love my Under Armour workout gear, but I will probably purchase an outfit from time to time when I can fit in in my budget. Getting to wear these leggings is going to be a good motivator to work out this April! As a side note, if you forget to skip the month you are charged $50 which applies as a credit to your account. This credit cannot actually be used on individual items, you can only use it on prebuilt outfits. Not the end of the world, but definitely something to keep in mind if you are planning on subscribing!
