Elf Lip Exfoliator

Hello again, I hope you are having a fab week so far! Today I’m talking about an e.l.f. product I purchased as part of the haul I did back in May. This was my first ever order from the US based brand and I’m not regretting it one bit! E.l.f. is so affordable and has some great products which I’ve been reaching for more and more over high end brands.

The Lip Exfoliator comes in six flavours: Pink Grapefruit, Coconut, Sweet Cherry, Mint Maniac, Rose, and an unflavoured version. I can never justify buying Lush lip scrubs for what they cost so I would make my own little scrub with brown sugar and coconut oil. It worked well but it was a little messy and I’d end up making too much and wasting it. No more! This moisturizing sugar exfoliator is easy to use and budget friendly.

Pros

  • $3!
  • Contains moisturizing Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Jojoba and Grape oils
  • Smooths dry and chapped lips without being too harsh
  • Comes in a twist up lipstick tube which can be easily recapped and stored for later
  • Works just as well as a homeade scrub!
  • 6 “flavours” to choose from

Cons

  • Hard to clean. It sometimes gets stubborn flakes from your chapped lips and there isn’t an easy way to clean them off.

The Verdict: 5/5
It does exactly what it says it does. My lips are always so smooth after using this without that raw feeling of having scrubbed something coarse across them. I will be buying more of this when I run out.

    1. I really like it, but if you don’t it’s only $3 so it’s not a huge gamble. Not like high end products that are raved about but don’t work for everyone and are really expensive! I hope you like it though πŸ™‚ Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment!!

    1. Thanks so much for reading! I believe you can only order from the website in us and Canada but you could try eBay and possibly Amazon? Unfortunately it might be a bit more expensive that way 😦
I’m currently on vacation but when I get home I’ll definitely check out your blog when I have more stable wifi. Thanks for reading!! πŸ™‚

    1. I haven’t tried a lush scrub yet but I want to, they sound so delicious! lol Hopefully it lasts long, i have heard that that their masks expire quickly but I don’t know much about the scrubs. I really like the elf one, I hope they start stocking their shelves better here before the post strike πŸ™‚

      1. Yes a friend of mine bought a mask from Lush but it was set to expire 2 weeks from when she bought it. So she had to do a lot of face masks to use it up lol. She really loved the mask though but having to buy a new one every 2 weeks would get expensive!
