Birthday Gift Hauuull

I know, I know I keep referencing my birthday. This is my last “birthday” post, and then we can move on. I wanted to share my birthday gift haul from this year because I was gifted just so many amazing things I can’t contain it! I got spoiled entirely rotten this year, I am so thankful to my family. I was expecting a couple little gifts, but they went all out to spoil me and I felt so special as a result!

Cat Mugs
We’ve all seen these mugs everywhere, from subscription boxes to boutiques, but with a mega markup. I’ve seen the individual mugs go anywhere from $20- $30 US, but on Amazon you can actually get both in a set for around fifteen bucks. They are so cute and everything I hoped they would be,.I’m looking forward to sipping lattes from them!

David’s Tea Pumpkin Chai
Did you know David’s Tea is Canadian!? I didn’t! This makes me  happy, I love when a Canadian store makes a name for itself 🙂 This is my favourite tea of ALL TIME. It’s a seasonal tea so I was pretty bummed when I finished my tin, but my little brother got me this giant tin of it. I hope it lasts ’til next fall!

Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette
*Screech!!* Those of you beauties who follow me on Instagram probably saw me gushing about this palette, I’ve never really owned a “high end” palette before until now. I love the chocolate smell!

Brent Weeks The Blood Mirror
This book is fourth in the Lightbringer series and Mr. Weeks has decided that there will now be FIVE books instead of four. YAAAS. I love when a series grows in the telling, fantasy is one of my greatest loves in life.

Twenty One Pilots Blurry Face Album
I saw Twenty One Pilots live in September and although I wasn’t a super fan at the time their live show absolutely blew me away. I’ve learned just about all the words to this CD now.

Modcloth Wishlist: I wasn’t expecting anything from Modcloth because it ships from the US, our dollar is down, and typically everything is subject to customs charges. BUT I got three amazing items despite that!!!

Floats Your Note Skirt
This skirt is fabulous. For those of you that don’t know, I went to Uni for music and specialized in Jazz guitar & Recording. This is right up my alley! It’s a small but still a tiny bit big, so I might get it hemmed and the waist taken in. This skirt is amazing!! I got so many compliments when I wore it to work!

Enterprising Artisan Cardigan
This is SOO Gorgeous. It has a lace back detail and looks very artsy. I already wore it out to a Christmas party.

Homecoming-Round-The-Mountain Oversized Sweater
This sweater is absolutely huge on me even though it’s the smallest size available, but giant sweaters are trending right now! It’s the perfect cozy reading sweater and I’ve already worn it several times paired with leggings. It’s my around the house gift wrapping sweater!

Stardew Valley
My older brother bought me a game on steam! It’s basically farmville combined with animal crossing. I’ve already sunk about 20 hours into it.

Car Tire Pump *pictured in feature photo*
Basically this plugs into your cigarette lighter and can pump up a tire if you get a flat! It should be enough to get you to a garage for a tire patch.

I’ll definitely be using that palette lots and will try to work on some style posts for y’all!! (While drinking tea from my cat mugs and listening to twenty one pilots and playing Stardew Valley). Thanks for reading loves! 1. I love it! I was definitely spoiled, my mom went overboard. I normally combine birthday and Christmas into one wishlist since the two are a month apart but I think they got just about everything on my list lol Thanks for reading!! 💜

  1. You got so many awesome goodies for your birthday! I already told you on Instagram but I loooove the cat mugs! They’re just so adorable. Stardew Valley sounds interesting! I used to play Farmville all the time back in the day but I’ve never tried Animal Crossing.

    1. I almost feel bad there’s so much, my parents went way overboard lol. You can get them on amazon! Search OliaDesign cat mugs and they’re around $15-20 for a set of two. Its really fun, you can fish, farm raise animals, make friends in the town, or go mining/fight monsters but you don’t need to focus too much as you can’t really die in the game. I wasn’t too much of a fan of animal crossing on it’s own because it was pretty much just talking to people in town but I’ve really enjoyed stardew valley!

      1. I checked out the game and it’s pretty much identical to the old Harvest Moon on SNES! I played that game over and over my whole life haha. I will definitely be downloading this one!

    1. Its really fun, I recommend it! Its like farmville in that you get a plot of land to use for farming, so each season you dig soil and go to the town to buy seeds which all have different lengths of time to harvest, normally anywhere from 4-15 game days. You water your crops each day and harvest materials from all around the map to help build your farm. You can craft items as the game goes on like sprinklers and fertilizer. You can even build stables for animals if you want to. Its kind of like animal crossing in that there’s a town central to the map with townspeople going about their lives. You can interact and make friends with them, and there are always little town events you can participate in each season, like easter egg hunts, the Halloween festival and ice fishing competitions in the winter. Each towns person even has a birthday! I havent played a full “year” in the game yet but you have different crops and challenges with each season. It’s a pretty inexpensive game too, the controls and graphics are much like the old gameboy color zelda games 🙂

      1. There are so many things you can do! I’m halfway through my first winter right now, You don’t really grow crops in winter so I’ve been trying to learn how to fish. I’m awful at it haha!

      2. lol! I’m sure you’re doing fine! It’s nice that you can play it at your own pace. My brother had already upgraded his home to the third tier by the end of the first year and I’ve only just started building chicken coops!
