I couldn’t let December pass by without a favourites post! This year has been a whirlwind but it ended off on a good note. I can’t believe I started blogging a year ago now! Thanks so much to everyone who reads and comments on my content, even if I have a tiny following in the grand scheme of the internet I am grateful for each and every one of you! So on to the favourites…
Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons
I received this palette in early December and it blew my mind! This is my first ever high end eyeshadow palette and I love it just as much as the first day I used it. The shades are so pigmented and wonderful and chocolate scented and… what’s not to love!?
Julep Kristjana Nail polish
I’m so glad I selected this shade in my December Julep Maven box! It’s a gorgeous dark purple with a bit of shimmer. It reminds me of a deep purple cloudless night when you can see the stars.. so dreamy! It almost looks like a gel manicure because it goes on thick and opaque in one coat.
Ciate Liquid Velvet Lipstick in Pin Up
This came in my December Ipsy Glam Bag and the shade is perfect on me! Even if it’s not transfer proof it’s really comfortable on the lips and applies evenly.
The Body Shop Soft Facial Sponge + Mango Whipped Lotion
Both came from my TBS advent calendar. The sponge exfoliates well without being too harsh and the lotion smells heavenly.
Dr. G Daily Safe BB Cream
This was a favourite in September when I received a sample in my Ipsy glam bag but I purchased the full sized version this month. I still love it, and it doesn’t cost nearly as much as the MUFE foundation I was considering buying.
Just Fab Perfect Jeggings
I ordered a pair of these in my December Just Fab subscription (review to come!!!) and they are wonderful! The fit is spot on and they are incredibly comfortable.
Modcloth Cat Tank
ISN’T THIS ADORBS!? Thanks Santa ❤
My husband bought this for my birthday in November but UPS “lost” it. The seller shipped another one for free and it showed up this month on the day we had tickets to Rogue One! The timing could not have been more perfect! It holds more than it looks and is so freaking adorable I can’t handle it. Best. Husband. Ever!
Oh She Glows Everyday Cookbook
Okay so I haven’t made anything from this book yet, but all the recipes sound amazing and I’ve composed a giant grocery list of all the things I need to make everything. I’ve heard great things about the original Oh She Glows cookbook so I’m hoping this one lives up to the same standard.
This is the most recent addition to Robin Hobb’s realm of the Elderlings. I’ve read fifteen of her books set in the same universe and this one is just as rich and intriguing as the others. The whole series is very near and dear to my heart and I even have a tattoo design in mind related to the series!
December has been a fantastic month, I don’t want to leave it behind! Heres hoping January is just as stellar! What’s on your radar this month!?
As always, thanks so much for reading and please let me know what you want to see in 2017! If you enjoyed this post please give it a like and you can also follow to never miss a post! You can find me on Instagram as well!
