A few weeks before Christmas The Body Shop had a 50% off sale with free shipping no minimum. I’ve been totally into TBS since my advent calendar and my bath/body collection was starting to run out so I ordered a few things. It was just such a good deal!
Banana Shampoo – $5
This smells wonderful! Unfortunately the conditioner that goes along with it was sold out, it was also priced at $5!
Rainforest Radiance Shampoo & Conditioner $5 each
I recently changed up my hair colour so I picked these colour treated hair products. $5 is a steal for hair care! The shampoo doesn’t lather very well but my hair feels clean afterwards. I haven’t noticed any dulling of my hair colour since I dyed it so it clearly isn’t stripping my hair. The conditioner is a challenge to get out of the bottle, but it works as well as any conditioner I’ve tried since I started using it. The smell is kind of grapey.
Vanilla Chai & Satsuma Body Wash $5 each
It’s funny, I tend to buy TBS products as gifts for people but I’ve never actually bought any of their bath products for myself. The Satsuma fragrance is so fresh and fruity, I always pick it for others so I decided I needed this gem on my own shelf. I tried the Vanilla Chai softening hand lotion from my calendar and wanted the shower gel as well. Once again, they are $5 each with the sale!
Coconut & Shea Shower Cream $5 & $4.50
Shower creams from TBS are different from body wash in that they are thicker and more moisturizing to your skin. If you are a coconut lover you will love the coconut shower cream. It’s great for dry skin because it doesn’t strip moisture away like traditional shower gels. The smell makes me want to sip a pina colada and hop on a plane to Hawaii. The Shea shower cream disappointed me, ONLY because I personally find the fragrance a bit less feminine than I’m used to. It smells closer to my husbands body wash than anything I’ve used in the past, but once again that’s just me!
Almond Conditioning Hand Wash $5
I wanted a fancy hand soap for my kitchen. I like almonds a lot and you can really smell them in this hand wash, it’s pretty great!
So I’m set in terms of body wash for the next year (maybe more, I still have a basket full of Bath and Body works products)! I spent a total of $39.50 + tax on this collective haul and didn’t have to pay for shipping! All in all I call that a success.
What’s your fav TBS product?! As always, thanks for reading! If you are new to Cleia beauty and you enjoyed this post please give this blog a follow! Remember you can also find me on Instagram & Twitter as well, leave your insta below and I’ll follow back ❤
