Is anyone else surprised at how quickly Fall went!? I can’t believe it’s time for another Fabfitfun box. The Fall Box was fantastic, I was really pleased with the curation so I hoped the winter box would be on par.

FabFitFun TV is a collection of fitness videos that subscribers can exclusively access through the FFF website. Fabfitfun is constantly updating the workouts available to subscribers so I experimented with a few more videos throughout November. FFF TV recently came out with cooking videos as well!
- Many Different Training Styles Pilates, yoga, toning, HIIT, and more.
- Workouts by 3S fitness & Fit Strong and Sexy. These channels are similar to the style of training I normally use.
- Variety of Instructors There are so many different fitness channels on FFFTV. It’s good to challenge myself once in a while with a different approach to training.
- Constantly Updated FFF Rotates in new videos often. They send out an email when the new videos are going live so you have more options to prevent boredom.
- Lack of information I was put off by FFF workouts that didn’t tell me going in what equipment I needed to complete the routine. I’d be in the middle of a video and find out that I needed an exercise ball or resistant bands.
- Overly Peppy Instructors Some instructors were waaaay too excitable for me.
- Music I am not a fan of pop/top 40 dance music. My music library contains mostly alt-rock and heavier music so I don’t really enjoy it when fitness videos have music burned on. I would rather work out without a music track and have the option to add my own music.
- No search function The video catalogue isn’t organized very well aside from having training type headings. I want to be able to search by length as well as target muscle groups (upper, lower, core, total body).

The Winter Box
I found it hard to avoid spoilers for the Winter Box this time around. FFF started promoting the products in their emails so I had several items spoiled for me early. Only two items in this box were a complete surprise which is probably why I didn’t feel as excited as I should have for the box. I was still happy when it finally arrived in the mail after three weeks of shipping.
Each FabFitFun box comes with a little newspaper style magazine. I love flipping through these, the magazine features each product included in the box with information on the brands as well as styling & makeup tips. The Winter magazine features Chef Ayesha Curry and includes several of her recipes.
As usual the items were wrapped in tissue paper and cushioned with crinkly paper pieces to make the unboxing experience feel extra special. It’s like you’re unwrapping a gift! Let’s get to the products…
BB Dakota x FabFitFun Poncho $70USD
Ironically I recently bought an alpaca wool poncho while in Peru, and when I got home I found out that I was going to receive a second poncho. I’ll wear both, I like BB Dakota fashion and this one looks cozy for winter. Subscribers received either black, charcoal, or mulberry. FYI it arrived packaged better than this but I took it out of the packaging and I couldn’t get it back in to take photos!
The poncho is super soft and cozy. It has blanket stitching and is reversible, though you can see the tag if it’s worn “inside out”. I’ve been taking it to work with me since our building’s AC and heating system is temperamental. The only thing that would make me love this poncho more would be a hood! I was rather surprised that FFF didn’t include a belt since their style tip is to belt the poncho to dress it up.
I question why these are $19. I noticed when I pulled them out of the box that there was a giant loose thread unravelling. They’re soft, smell nice (from the aloe?) and give me cozy winter feels, but there’s no way they’re worth $19 when they’re made in China and are already starting to unravel. They claim to last 25- 30 washes… So if I wore them once a week they would last maybe 6 months. That doesn’t seem like a pro to me! Still, I think they are cozy and will be nice for curling up on the couch on my days off.
I wasn’t sure if I’d like this or not. It’s a choker style necklace but it’s not fitted tight to my neck. It has a long tassely hanging piece. The whole tassel jewellery trend baffles me. I feel like I’m the only one who isn’t into it, it’s everywhere!
I like the way this looks on me but it feels cheap because of the micro ball chain (I wore those when I was 8). According to FFF is made with “14K + Copper Plating + E coat to avoid or change skin colour” but it’s also made in China so it probably cost $0.50 or less to produce. I wouldn’t pay $58 for it even if it does have a small amount of gold in it. I read lots of reviews from people who were sent complimentary boxes to review (I paid for my box) and they all loved this necklace so I’ll stop being a Grinch. It’s a cute piece of jewelry, I can see why people would like it even if it’s not my style.
Beauty & Wellness
Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment 1.7 oz $72.25 Value
Fabfitfun released Exfolikate as a spoiler during the first week of November. I’m almost out of my current exfoliating product so this arrived at the perfect time for me. And have you guys seen how expensive Exfolikate is!? As Kathleen Lights would say, Das Expensive. Exfolikate is supposed to help with fine lines, pores, and skin texture with just one use and contains lactic acid and papaya, pineapple, and pumpkin enzymes.
I was surprised that this product is GREEN! Have any of you tried this?
This palette was also released early as a spoiler. Subscribers received either a nude palette or this smokey purple palette. Both are magnetic and come with a highlighter shade. I have similar shades in other palettes so I probably won’t reach for it. Let me know if you would like to see this Doucce palette included in my giveaway next month!
The FabFitFun Wellness Boost choice was a pillow spray or a FFFTV Ball. The ball was tiny, I found it in a FFFTV workout and decided against it. I was hoping it would be one of those big exercise balls you can sit on, but sadly that wasn’t the case. I know I wouldn’t alter my current exercise routine to include a ball.
The pillow spray sounded interesting to me. I’m a shift worker with a strange sleep schedule so I’m looking forward to using this and seeing if it has any effect on my sleeping habits. It has notes of Lavender, Vetiver and Camomile. I spritzed my pillow twice and my husband was very dramatic about how strong it smelled, but I think it smells nice!
Grace & Stella Anti-Wrinkle + Energizing Eye Masks 8 Pairs $19.95USD
FabFitFun’s Beauty Boost customization option allowed subscribers to choose between these eye masks or a Nelson j Moisture Healing Hair Mask. These eye patches are supposed to help with dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines & wrinkles. I used one set of patches already and liked them a lot, they have a cooling effect and hydrated my under eye area well.
Ahava Deadsea Water Mineral Hand Cream 5.1oz $33
Yesss!! I’ve been to an Ahava spa before and the products smell so good! I’m excited to have this even though I have way too many hand creams. It absorbs quickly and leaves my hands feeling silky smooth. I was originally going to give this as a Christmas gift… but now I want to keep it for myself! xD
This oversized (perfect sized) mug will be great for drinking hot chocolate with whipped cream! I’m not sold on the design but I can appreciate a good mug. I’ll take it to work when I’m on early morning shifts. Subscribers received one of three designs. I feel like the value is inflated but I’ll use it!
Winter Box Value
The box totalled up to $388.19USD. A lot of the prices are ridiculous and I personally believe should be valued lower, for instance the choker and the fuzzy socks. Still, I think the curation was good and I will use all the skincare items in the box as well as the poncho. I’m still debating on whether or not to keep the Doucce palette.
I’m surprised that there weren’t any sponsored items included this time around, it would have been nice to have a voucher for Ayesha Curry’s Homemade food subscription or something like that, but I can’t really complain when the box value is so high. The Winter box feels very cozy to me!
