I’ve never tried any L’Occitane hair care products, this shampoo is silicone free and supposed to help repair damaged hair. My hair isn’t damaged but the 5 different essential oils will hopefully be really nourishing.
This cream contains 20% Shea butter and claims to absorb fast into the skin with no greasy residue.
I’m glad they included the matching conditioner to the shampoo from day 8! This one also includes all the same essential oils as the shampoo.
Day 11: Light Comforting Cream
This cream is for normal to combination skin. There is an Ultra Rich Comforting Cream that contains 25% shea butter and is formulated for very dry skin, but this light version contains only 5%. It claims to provide 48 hour moisturization and keep skin soft all day. I’ll try this out after I’ve finished the Immortelle Precious Cream from day 7.
Day 12: Almond Shower Oil
I have this shower oil in travel size. This one is slightly smaller, but I use this stuff so slowly it should last for a while. This shower oil is really moisturizing and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight. I also like to use it when I shave my legs because it’s so thick.
Another hand cream! My purse will be set all year round. This one is rose scented and contains shea butter and vitamin E oil. L’Occitane hand creams feel so fancy to me. I love the scent!
Day 14: Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover
This product seems to be very similar to the Shea Cleansing Oil from day 6. Both products claim to remove makeup, the only difference is that this contains immortelle essential oil instead of Shea oil. They both work the same way for me.
Day 15: Cherry Blossom Shimmering Lotion
Cherry Blossom is one of my favourites scents in bath & body care products. I was hoping that there would be a perfume but I’m just as happy having a lightly scented lotion. This lotion is supposed to leave a slightly iridescent finish.
Day 16: Divine Cream
This Face cream is supposed to be amazing for anti aging. I remember it was an Elle Canada Grand Prix finalist a few years ago. This cream has won several awards and is supposed to target “wrinkles, firmness, radiance and evenness”.
Day 17: Almond Milk Concentrate
This almond milk moisturizer is supposed to deliver 48 hour hydrating while helping skin to appear firmer and smoother. According to L’Occitane: “A new complex, associating walnut seed and almond extract, helps to protect skin elasticity while stimulating cellular renewal, making skin seem smoothed and tightened.”
Another shower gel for my travel bag! I am planning on doing some travelling in 2018 so I’m glad that this calendar included a travel size shampoo, conditioner and shower gel
I LOVE this fragrance! I didn’t realize just how many perfumes L’occitane had until I got this calendar. I normally don’t go for flowery perfumes (aside from Cherry Blossom) because they tend to smell like dying flowers to me but this scent is so unique and pretty! It’s a blend of Mediterranean Neroli Essence and White Orchid from Madagascar with notes of orange and peach. I could literally wear this all day every day.
Day 20: Immortelle Essential Water
Immortelle Essential water is an alcohol free toner which helps to sooth and soften with Immortelle floral water and hyaluronic acid. I ran out of toner months ago and never replaced it so I love receiving more skincare.
Day 21: Almond Supple Skin Oil
This oil contains over 50% almond oil and claims to deliver firmer, tighter, and smoother skin. The full size has a spray nozzle to apply it evenly, but unfortunately the mini doesn’t have a spritzer.
Day 22: Ultra Rich Shea Butter Lip Balm
This lip balm contains 10% shea butter to help moisturize and nourish the lips. It’s more of a cream/gel consistency than a balm. I can always use more lip balms, I always lose them.
Day 23: Cherry Blossom Hand Cream
I was of course happy to see even more of the cherry blossom scent! This hand cream is little like most of the other ones in the calendar but that just makes it easier to use up in a timely manner.
Day 24: Terre De Lumiére Eau de Parfume
“Discover Terre de Lumière, inspired by the Golden Hour, a unique moment in time right before the sun sets when the light embraces the sky.”
Of course Christmas Eve would have one of the most expensive and beautiful looking fragrances in the whole calendar! This perfume contains hints of lavender, honey and almond. Unlike the other fragrances I received in the luxury beauty calendar this is an eau de parfume, not an eau de toilette. What a pretty bottle!
