Beauty Brands I Wish Were Sold At Sephora

Beauty Brands I Wish Were Sold At SephoraAlthough Sephora may be an expensive place to shop and arguably doesn’t have the best rewards system ($100 of points redeems a small sample) hopefully most of us can agree that it’s a one stop shop for most of our midrange to luxury beauty purchases AND it has a bomb return policy. I learned from a girl on instagram last week that you can return and eyeshadow palette after three months of use if you decide you don’t like it. CRAZY right!?

Unfortunately Sephora doesn’t carry every brand under the sun. There are a lot of smaller brands that are sold exclusively on their own websites or at Ulta instead of Sephora. We don’t have Ulta in Canada as far as I know, so I’ve compiled a list of my top 5 Beauty Brands I Wish Were Sold At Sephora!

Beauty Brands I Wish Were Sold At Sephora: The Balm

#1 The Balm

I love The Balm’s retro vibe and amusing product names! I’ve been dying to try out their eyeshadow palettes and Matt(e) Lipsticks. Please, please, come to my Sephora soon!

Beauty Brands I Wish Were Sold At Sephora: Morphe

#2 Morphe

I would love to see Morphe at Sephora purely for their bomb makeup brush sets. Morphe is a more affordable alternative to most of Sephora’s brush offerings. and of course lets not forget that Morphe also has eyeshadow palettes!

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette

#3 Zoeva

I’ve been lusting over the cocoa blend palette for what feels like forever! I can never justify shipping products to Canada though, and as much as I really want to try out some Zoeva palettes I know I won’t convince myself it’s okay to pay for shipping and/or customs charges.

Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit in Dolce K

#4 Kylie Cosmetics

I tried my first Kylie Lip Kit recently and I’m dying to pick up a few more liquid lipsticks. Unfortunately shipping and customs are killer to Canada, so I’m just going to keep hoping Kylie Cosmetics will one day be sold at a store near me. I don’t even care what store, just somewhere close by!

Beauty Brands I Wish Were Sold At Sephora: Dose Of Colors The Snuggle Is Real Set

#5 Dose of Colors

I’ve heard countless beauty YouTubers rave about how Dose of Colors has the “best liquid lipstick formula” ever. The the Desi X Katy Dose of Colors collab has such stunning packaging, I need it! I wish Dose of Colors was sold at Sephora so I could swatch shades and easily make a return if the products don’t work out for me.

I know you’re in Alberta so I’m not sure if you have Shoppers Drug Mart or Rexall but they sell theBalm! I wish Sephora carried all these brands too. I just like their return policy and knowing that if I try something out for a month and decide I’m really not feeling it, I can return it. I also know I’m not getting hit with hidden costs like duties like I would from individual company’s websites!

    • November 17, 2017 / 11:45 pm

We have both, I don’t think the shoppers near me has the balm right now but I’ll definitely check rexall! Thanks for the tip!
Exactly, I love being able to return things. Where as if it turns out I don’t like the colourpop palette I can’t really return it 😥

      • November 18, 2017 / 12:46 am

Yeah and I worry about customs with ColourPop! Luckily they’re so cheap in the first place! Especially if it turns out you don’t enjoy the palette. I really want that MLP palette too.

        • November 18, 2017 / 12:53 pm

I knoowww. I only let myself spend about $30, hopefully it will avoid customs 😧 I’m pretty sure I’ll love it, I watched quite a few tutorials using it before purchasing. But you never know! Maybe you’ll get it in your Christmas stocking 🎄

I’m in the US, and I completely agree about Zoeva! I’d love to see their products at Sephora. Also, I recently noticed that MAC wasn’t sold on the US website for Sephora. Really wish it was!

    • November 17, 2017 / 8:04 pm

We can hope, right? I would have totally purchased Zoeva’s opulence and offline palettes if they were sold at Sephora!
It would be nice to se MAC too, I don’t know if that one will happen though, MAC seems pretty happy to be off on it’s own 🙁

      • November 17, 2017 / 10:04 pm

Right! I would love to see more of their brushes in person. I have a few–they’re so nice!

  4. November 17, 2017 / 4:29 pm

Here in Spain we have Zoeva in Sephora! But I wish we had ABH and Tarte… 😭

    • November 17, 2017 / 12:12 pm

Lucky!! It’s so interesting that the same company sells different brands in each country, I hope they bring you ABH and Tarte soon!

I would love it if they sold Morphe and Kylie Cosmetics at Sephora! They’re bot something that’s not the easiest to get, and if I can avoid shipping at all costs I will.

    • November 17, 2017 / 3:53 pm

Exactly, it would be so nice to avoid all that shipping and customs nonsense! Another blogger on here told me that Sephora in Spain has Zoeva, I’m so jealous!

  6. November 17, 2017 / 3:01 pm

I wish Sephora sophora sold the balm!

    • November 17, 2017 / 3:49 pm

I’ve heard that Rexall might have it, I need to look into that! I just want to swatch everything 😄

  7. November 17, 2017 / 1:33 pm

I feel this! There’s so many brands that are unavailable down here in NZ, so I have to go online and pay lots of shipping. We have recently gotten the Balm products down here, and I love their retro look and cute names too! 😀

    • November 17, 2017 / 1:43 pm

It must be worse in NZ for you than it is up here, shipping overseas is always more expensive than land shipping 🙁
I’m glad you’ve got The Balm now! The brand is so cute, and pretty good quality as far as I can tell from the few things I’ve tried. Thanks for reading Angela!

  8. November 17, 2017 / 12:47 pm

If it makes you feel better I don’t think the dose of colours are the best liquid lips! They’re good but not my favourites! I still need to get my hands on Zoeva too

    • November 17, 2017 / 1:42 pm

haha it makes me feel a little bit better. I’ve never tried them so I have nothing to base my opinion off of! Which formula is your favourite?
YES Zoeva please come to a retail location!!

        • November 17, 2017 / 1:52 pm

I haven’t tried any of those, I really should! Thanks for the recommendation =)

  9. November 17, 2017 / 12:15 pm

Years ago The Balm was sold at Sephora, then one day I went to get a foundation refill and they no longer stocked it. Total bummer, I would like to see it come back too!

    • November 17, 2017 / 1:41 pm

huh, I wonder why they got rid of it. That’s so disappointing, I hope they come back to Sephora!

  10. November 17, 2017 / 11:42 am

I feel you! I live in B.C and the annoyance of expensive shipping really puts a damper on shopping sprees!
And I totally agree! I’d love to see Morphe in Sephora! Fortunately I’ve found The Balm in a few drugstores in Canada (Rexall I think?) 🙂

    • November 17, 2017 / 12:14 pm

It’s the worst! I hate getting additional customs charges on top of shipping too.
At Rexall? I’ll have to check that out! Thanks!

  11. November 17, 2017 / 10:22 am

Dose of colors is sold at Sephora online! I also wish they had the Balm and zoeva, because those are two brands that I’ve been dying to try out, but I’m not a big fan of order from individual websites. Maybe I’ll order from the balm website soon, cause I really love their eye shadow palettes! Great post Cleia xxx

Lucky! Dose of colors isn’t on the Canadian website 😞 On the bright side ordering from each website individually they have more sales than Sephora! The balm had 50% everything a few months ago.
      Thanks for reading!
