It’s been at least several months since I placed a ColourPop order. There have been several times when I was tempted to go ahead and order more, I was obsessed with the idea of owning the Eva Gutowski Vacation Mode palette for at least a month. I managed to hold out on placing an order until now, but I knew that I needed to jump on the chance to try out the new No Filter Foundation! Let’s see what else I picked up in my ColourPop No Filter Foundation Haul…

ColourPop has changed their packaging slightly it seems. Normally they ship with foamy inserts to cushion the products but this time they sent bubble wrap. I’m not sure which is worse for the environment, but at least I can recycle the plastic. The box was super cute, the inside was purple and read “Open In Case Of Party Emergency”.
I surprised myself when I decided to forgo replacing my No Filter Concealer. I ran out but I still have a half full bottle of Tarte Aquacealer so I thought I would hold off. No filter Concealer has a matte finish which tends to be a little too dry for my under-eye area. I was hoping this foundation wouldn’t be quite as matte or drying. For a limited time shoppers purchasing a No Filter Foundation received a free foundation brush. I’m hesitant to use this brush as Kathleen Lights has said NFF doesn’t apply as well with a brush but I’ll try it out, you never know.
*After using this brush for a while I’ve decided that I’m not a fan. It doesn’t blend foundation at all, so it’s really only good for placing product on your face which you’ll then need to blend with a sponge or another brush.
ColourPop has two different Lux Lipstick finishes, one that is a cream base and another that is more Matte. I decided to try a shade from both finishes. I picked up LA Lady which is a cream finish and Mind Trick which is a matte. I couldn’t resist the Star Wars reference! These will also be getting a comparison review in the future
Lippie Stix in Lullaby
I saw this Lippie Stix in one of That Girl Shae’s swatch videos and I knew I had to have it. It’s a matte finish with the most velvety candy apple red I have ever seen. I can’t wait to wear this lipstick!
I have a full review of the brow boss pencil on my blog and you can guess by the fact that I’m repurchasing that I love it. I decided to try a shade lighter this time around, I’ve been transitioning my hair back to blonde so I’m starting to go for lighter eyebrow shades.
Birthday Wish Super Shock Shadow
Every Year ColourPop releases a few products to celebrate their birthday as a company. This is year four I believe. Most of CP’s releases lately have fallen flat for me, but I was drawn in by how beautiful and metallic this gold shade is.
Empty Eyeshadow Palette
Z palettes aren’t cheap. ColourPop makes the cheapest large Z palette I have ever seen, and they don’t always stock it so I was happy I could finally get my hands on it. It’s so frustrating having all these loose eyeshadows and blushes with broken packaging, I can’t wait to de-pot some more pans into this palette.
