Good Molecules Rosewater Daily Cleansing Gel Review

Today we are talking about one of my favourite things I received through PR in 2020. I don’t receive a ton of PR, but I’m still very excited to talk about the Good Molecules Rosewater Daily Cleansing Gel! It’s rare when I come across a cleanser that actually does something different than most of the other cleansers on the market.

I am really enjoying my Good Molecules gel cleanser. Not only is it affordable, it’s also very gentle and calming on my skin.

Good Molecules Rosewater Daily Cleansing Gel Review

Meet your new daily cleanser for comfortably clean skin. Infused with antioxidant-rich rosewater, this pH-balanced gel face wash soothes and balances all skin types. Good Molecules Rosewater Daily Cleansing Gel gently purifies skin of dirt, oil, and makeup without disrupting its natural moisture balance. — Good Molecules

The Good Molecules Rosewater Daily Cleansing gel is as gentle as it sounds. Rose extracts are very soothing and hydrating in my experience. The cleanser contains 4 oz of product and retails for $12USD. Good molecules is a vegan brand all about affordable skincare that works.

Rosewater Cleansing Gel Good Molecules

The Rosewater Daily Cleansing Gel from Good Molecules is a lightweight formula that lathers gently as you rub it in. It doesn’t have a strong scent, so those of you who are sensitive to smells would probably appreciate that. Some rose scents are overwhelming but this one is quite subtle.

I love this cleanser as part of my morning routine. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and never tight. I hate that tight feeling from washing your face and this cleanser has never given me that experience.

The one con I have to mention is that the Cleansing Gel doesn’t remove waterproof makeup. I have to go in with a makeup remover for any eyeliner or mascara I’m wearing prior to washing my face. That’s one of the reasons I like to use this as part of my a.m. routine when I’m not wearing makeup! I’ll often use my Good Molecules Instant Cleansing Balm in the evening to get all the stubborn leftover mascara flakes. I’ll then go in with the Rosewater Gel Cleanser afterwards to remove the last traces of makeup.

Good Molecules Rosewater Cleansing Gel

  • Gentle
  • Subtle Fragrance
  • Refreshes without stripping the skin
  • Doesn’t remove heavy or waterproof makeup
  • Only available online at Beautylish and on the Good Molecules website

Have you tried Good Molecules?

I don’t know what else to say about the Good Molecules Rosewater Daily Cleansing Gel. It’s a lovely cleanser for coping with dry skin, especially for only $12. I’m looking forward to using this over the winter months!

I neeeeed to try Good Molecules already, I hear too many positive reviews! My CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser is going to run out soon, so maybe I’ll give this one a go. I definitely need something gentle and still hydrating since my skin is so dry and at times, sensitive.

I really like them! I’m normally skeptical of inexpensive skincare, but GM has really impressed me.
I hope you love the cleanser if you do end up giving it a try!

I’m surprised when I started reading and you said that you recommend a rose product, since I know you’re not a huge fan of rose scented products. I still have about 2-3 cleansers in my backups, but I might try this one out, once I run out of them! Great post Cleia xxx

Haha I know right!? The scent is really subtle, so I don’t mind it.
I don’t think I’ll be buying skincare for a while, I have too much piled up in my cupboard. I have a cleanser for every bath & shower in our home right now 😆 Thanks for reading!
