Home Inspired Wish List

Since I started blogging I have found myself spending a lot more money on makeup and skincare than I used to. That’s totally alright, however, I have definitely neglected some purchases that were more important than others. I sat down this week to make a plan for the things I’ve been needed in my home.

Office Chair. Seriously, I’m sitting on these hard, wooden patio chairs which I’m pretty sure are intended to outdoor use, not prolonged sitting at a computer screen. No wonder I hardly spend any time in my office!

Cozy Reading Chair. I have wanted a cozy reading chair for the office FOREVER. Or it feels like it. Chairs are so expensive though, I’d have to do a no-buy for like six months to afford one!!

Floor Lamp. I’m using a little industrial light for my office. It hums loudly and is too bright if looked at directly, and yet too dim when aimed at the wall. I would love to have a beautiful lamp in my space.

Cat Tree. Ours is two years old, and while I want to keep it and use it for as long as I can, one of the sitting platforms fell off, and couldn’t be reattached. The sisal rope has also fallen off, so my kitties are looking to the furniture to relieve their scratching needs.

Duffel Bag. It’s not an urgent need, but I could really use a new gym bag. I’ve had my current bag since I was about twelve years old, and it’s pulling apart enough that Ion can stick his head in it even when it’s zipped up! Not good! I’ll probably add this to my Christmas list.

What do you wish for in your home? Thanks so much for reading!! I hope you enjoyed this post, it’s a bit different than my regular content, but I love trying out new types of posts. Remember to like & follow me here and on instagram

I’ve been wishing for a silver metal trash can for the kitchen, instead of the crappy white one we have that always looks dirty and gross no matter what we do. Yesterday we were at Costco and happened upon a super cheap, fancy, automatic silver metal trash can! I swear it’s changed the look of the whole kitchen and I feel like such a nerd being so excited about it!

Yes, a nice trash can is a must! We have a plastic little one from Target, it’s not the best xD It’s crazy how such a small change can change the look of a room. Thanks for sharing!

I totally have one of these as well. It keeps getting longer, and most are no longer needs, but wants on the wish list XD
That floor lamp is gorgeous though! I love the vines detail!

Haha I know the feeling, some things on my wishlist are definitely not as high a priority as others 😅
It really is! There’s a set of three lamps with the same pattern, one of them is a table lamp. They’re so lovely, but so expensive!!

That’s exciting!! Have you found a place yet? I love being able to decorate my own home now, but it’s so expensive doing it all at once.

I haven’t yet, but I’ve been slowly buying things for my future home, so I don’t struggle too much! xx

That’s the best way to do it, a bit at a time! My parents bought themselves new furniture around the time I left home so I got to keep their old stuff to start my home ☺ it helped a lot!

That’s so cool! I’m sadly not as lucky as you are, but I have a roommate, so we’re splitting up the costs of things 🙂 xx

It was really great of them =) Roommates help a lot too!
