I’ve been off and on with Ipsy since my first glam bag in January. My last Glam Bag arrived in May when I took little hiatus from Ipsy but now I’m back with a review of the September Ipsy Glam Bag. Crown Brush C494 Ombre Angle Brush (Full Size) $7.99
This brush is so soft! My brush collection is ever growing thanks to Ipsy. There are so many different types of brushes available it’s hard to know which ones you need. Ipsy takes the guess work out of it. This brush has synthetic bristles for applying highlighter and blush.
Tarte Lash Paint Mascara (3ml)$9.86
A mascara! This is my first mascara from ipsy. I love that Ipsy gives you the opportunity to try some high end brands without shelling out the cash for a full sized product.
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask (1oz) $4.50
I never seem to have a shortage of hair treatments and masks thanks to all my subscriptions, but I did just finish two so it’s nice to replenish my stock. This product is formulated without the use of artificial dyes, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, or silicones.
Dr. G Daily Safe BB Cream in Fair (5ml) $3.56
I finally got a BB cream from Ipsy! I was rather disappointed that the tube is 80% filled with air but this matches my skin really well and blends like a dream. It also has SPF 30 so it’s a good product to have on my radar even if I won’t get much use from it.
Be a Bombshell Nail Polish in Holy Fuchsia (Full Size) $6
I would have liked to see a colour more fall oriented like the Trust Fund Beauty polish some subscribers received. Surprisingly Ipsy didn’t choose the shade Glamazon from Be a Bombshell, It would have fit perfectly with this month’s theme. I don’t have a shade quite like this so it’s a nice addition to my nail polish box.
This month’s glam bag had a value of $31.91 not including the makeup bag which is incredibly low for Ipsy. I’ve had bags with upwards of $80 in value before. Normally that would bother me, but for once I like each and every item in my bag so September’s Glam Bag is a win for me. Check out my other Ipsy reviews Here!
