The June Ipsy Glam Bag has arrived! I was very excited for this month’s glam bag because I knew I was getting my very first Ofra Highlighter, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
If you haven’t heard of Ipsy before it’s a $12USD/month beauty subscription that promises 5+ deluxe and full sized beauty products a month.
If you want to try your own Ipsy glam bag you can subscribe Here.

The June Ipsy Glam Bag
The glam bag theme this June is…
The bag is cute! It has a beachy theme with sunbathers of multiple skin tones on a summery yellow backdrop. I love the inclusivity of the design, even if it’s not really my style. The velvet pink February glam bag was more my speed, just for keeping with me in my work bag and everything.
Ofra Highlighter in Talia Mar Covenant Garden
This is full sized!! I got to choose one item for my glam bag and when I chose it I honestly thought I was choosing a mini highlighter. Imagine my surprise when a gorgeous full sized highlighter was inside! This is full sized, but it’s the old Ofra packaging which looks a little bit cheaper than the new design. I could care less about the packaging, it’s the product that really matters.
Talia Mar covenant Garden is described as a champagne rose and it is beautiful! It reminds me of my Niteshine liquid highlighter from Glossier in terms of shade, but not formula (obvs.) The pink glow is so gorgeous!
I might be gifting this to my mom, Tea Tree tends to dry out my already dry skin. I might be able to get away with it now that it’s summer, but I’m not sure I want to risk it. I have three other cleansers in my rotation right now anyways!
I don’t think this is a bad product (I haven’t tried it) but it’s just not a match for my skin type profile.
Maëlle Beauty Clearly Brilliant Lip Tint in Nectar
How cute is this little lip crayon! I know I said last month that mini lip products take forever to use, but I’ve somehow already finished my Tarte H2O gloss from last month. I’ve been wearing it constantly, it’s glossy lip season over here! I love the shade of this lip crayon, though I must say the formula of the ColourPop Tinted Lip Crayons is creamier and more pigmented. I haven’t heard of Maelle beauty but I’m interested now, it’s fun discovering new brands!
I’m actually excited about this, because my hair has been unmanageable lately. I’ve been using a trial kit of Olaplex which is helping, I’m going to have a post of my Olaplex Experience up soon! I’ve been really into hair styling creams and detangling products lately, anything that keeps my hair from tangling throughout the day.
House of Makeup Nail Lacquer in Flat White
I was excited for this polish, but it doesn’t even remotely compare to the Sundays polish I received in last months Ipsy Glam bag! The Colour is.. flat I guess, no pun intended. It’s very lacklustre, even though I do like the shade. It needs a shiny top coat and several coats to achieve the look I want, where the Sundays polish formula is opaque and shiny in one coat. Oh well! You can’t win em’ all.
What did you get in your June Ipsy Glam Bag?
The June bag was great! I was mollified to find out that my Ofra Highlighter was full sized, it alone covers the price I paid for my subscription. I really enjoy my little bag of beauty treats every month, it reminds me of when I started my blog in 2016. It’s the little things right?
