So I don’t know about you guys, but with masks wearing being commonplace now I’m definitely spending less time on lipstick and foundation. In fact, the only makeup that I really bother with these days are eye products. It’s the only part of my face that people really see anymore, so why bother with the rest?
I go all out when it comes to my eye makeup. Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, Mascara, and when I’m photographing looks for my blog I also throw on some eyelashes. I really love that faux mink lash look so I will typically spend a little bit more on my eyelashes so that they look like they could be real. No plastic drugstore lashes for me! When Lithe Lashes reached out to me I was very excited to try their synthetic, cruelty free and vegan lashes. They did not disappoint!

About Lithe Lashes
We set out to create a collection of lashes that would integrate seamlessly within our everyday routines. Reducing our essentials and inspiring a more minimal and conscious lifestyle while celebrating natural beauty. – Lithe Lashes
Lithe Lashes makes lashes that are cruelty free & vegan. This Canadian brand also ships lashes in recyclable packaging, which is a definite must in 2020. Their lash styles are very natural and give a your-lashes-but-better look.
The lashes are packaged in an FSC certified paper box with a completely recyclable lash tray inside.
02 Everyday Round Lashes
The 02 Everyday round lashes were made for me. These are exactly what I look for in a false eyelash! I’ve never been a fan of ultra dramatic lashes. Bigger lashes look obviously fake on my eyes, and tend to bat against my glasses which is pretty annoying. These everyday lashes add a little something-something to my eyes, but don’t make a loud statement.
I think they look so beautiful with the look above featuring the ColourPop Wild Nothing Palette. They’re so wispy and beautiful. The lashes were easy to apply using Duo Lash glue, and required very little trimming. I basically just trimmed the end tabs that were sticking out.
03 Everyday Winged Lashes
The o3 lashes are described as the “sexy wing sister to 02”. They’re definitely bolder but they’re still very wearable. If I had a fancy event to go to (does anyone still have events right now?) I would definitely go for these between the two pairs. Even with no eyeliner they create the appearance of winged eyeliner. For everyday I would go with the 02 round lashes, for a night out I would choose these.
Both 02 & 03 lashes retail for $22USD. I know this is expensive, especially compared to drugstore lashes. They actually cost the same as the Unisyn Lashes I used to buy a lot from Esqido, but Lithe is Canadian whereas Esqido is not. I can shop the site in Canadian dollars so I know exactly what I’m buying before exchange rate. These lashes are high quality, which is reflected in the price.
The best affordable alternative I have found to luxury faux mink lashes are the Paw Paw lashes from Shop Miss A. However, the shop miss A lashes are hit and miss. Some styles are excellent, where others are bent it strange directions and curl in ways that make them unwearable. You can see a few of the styles in my Shop Miss A Haul from earlier this year.
Have you tried Lithe Lashes?
Thank you to Lithe for sending me these lashes to try out. I’m enjoying them so far and you guys can expect to see more looks with these lashes in the future! I will probably even treat myself to another pair or two once my lash stash is running low.
