Morphe Brushes Haul | Eye Slay Brush Set

Morphe Brushes Eye Slay Brush Set HaulHey beauties, welcome back! As many of you know I live in Canada so I find it rather expensive to order certain brands from the US. Customs & import fees are the worst, and shipping to Canada isn’t always pretty. Luckily my in-laws were down at their house in Arizona for a few months and they generously agreed to bring back the Morphe Brushes Eye Slay Brush Set for me plus a few extras!

I’ve accumulated a random collection of brushes from beauty subscriptions over the past two years but I was lacking some precision brushes. I had three blending brushes but no precision tapered brushes. I decided it was time to invest in my first set of Morphe Brushes.

Morphe Brushes Eye Slay Brush Set

  • Oval Shadow Brush: The eye’s the limit with this thick brush that both packs on color and diffuses edges.

  • Luxe Case

Morphe Brushes Eye Slay

I was torn between ordering the Eye Slay Brush Set or the Beautiful & Bronzed Set. I would love to have the latter, but I decided I would rather spend a bit less money at this time. The Eye Slay rose gold brushes are also incredibly beautiful and I plan on using them in my instagram photos.

Morphe Brushes MB11 & M506

Morphe MB11 Angled Liner Brush

This razor-fine, angled brush lets you create bold lines with precise strokes for the perfect winged liner. The thin, firm head lets gel and cream liners glide onto the skin for artfully drawn lines that make eyeliner a snap.

I was absolutely lost navigating through all the eyeliner brushes at Morphe! How do you know which one to use!? Unfortunately this brush didn’t work very well for me. It’s too thick to get a precise wing. I highly recommend the Morphe R45 for your winged eyeliner needs!

Morphe M506 Tapered Mini Blender

I saw this brush in a Kristen Dominique Makeup Tutorial. This Sable brush is exactly the type of blending brush that I needed. I have hooded eyes so it helps to have a smaller tapered brush for blending in my crease.

I see a few brushes in here that I need in my collection. I feel like one of the reasons I haven’t bought from morphe is because they seem a little shady and I’ve heard things here and there lol. It’s one of those brands that I’m just not super sure about. But in terms of quality. I’m sure they’re amazing.

Really? I’ve never heard anything shady about them, maybe I just haven’t looked too hard 🤔 The quality seems to be there, we’ll see if the brushes fall apart after a few washes

basically that Morphe is approaching big beauty youtubers and they all say how these brushes are their HG and this and that but it seems that often, their brushes are not that great, though they are cheap. But it’s just this controversy because subscribers look up to these people if they’re lying just to get sponsored then…idk…maybe some brushes are truly amazing, so far I haven’t really heard regular people talk amazing things about them LOL.

The packaging looks great! I haven’t tried that many Morphe brushes yet but I need to!

I’m such a big Morphe fan! I have a brush set from them and several ones I have bought separately. I will say that the value sets aren’t that amazing compared to their separately sold ones, at least the ones I’ve tried!

That seems to be the consensus among the bloggers I’ve talked to, I’ll definitely try out some more individual brushes next time! These ones are very pretty though 😊

I agree! I don’t think they’re that much worse and definitely still worth it!!

I love my Morphe brushes. I haven’t purchased any in a set; when buying, I buy each brush separately, and they’ve all held up through daily use and cleanings. I love the big powder brush. I also like the M439 for foundation. Best bang for the buck, that’s for sure!

    Thank you for sharing! 🙂

I really like the M506 so far, it’s my favourite out of everything. I’ll need to try some more individual brushes next time. I remember looking online at the powder brush, I should have ordered it!

I was subscribed to the MorpheMe brush box for about a year which helped build my collection. I just unsubscribed because I have more brushes now than I’ll ever need! 🙂

These brushes look gorgeous! Where in Canada do you live btw? I totally understand you when it comes to shipping and duties when you order from the US.

They’re literally the most instagramable brushes I have ever seen lol! I’m in Alberta! Are you Canada too? I hate those dreaded customs charges!

Ugh I know, where as in Europe you can fly just about anywhere for $100! So unfair 😩

            April 21, 2018 / 2:22 pm

Exactly. I’m originally from Europe and you can get last minute deals for like 15$ LMAO

            Omg that’s crazy! (And awesome!)

  10. April 20, 2018 / 8:12 am

Morphe brushes have bit pretty hit or miss from me. I have one set that I absolutely love, while another set that they’re “ehh” at best. I think the best brushes that I’ve bought have to be my Juvia’s Place Brushes (they never shed!) and my real techniques brushes! I don’t know if you have a TJ MAxx, but they always have the real technique brushes super cheap! Great post xxx

I wonder if it’s maybe the value sets/bundles that aren’t the best quality? So far I love mine but I like the blending brush that wasn’t part of a set the best :S

I remember you telling me about those Juvia’s Place brushes! I need to place an order the next time they do a 40% off sale.

Unfortunately we don’t have TJ Maxx but I can order real techniques from!

      • April 21, 2018 / 11:39 am

They also sell them in target, but they’re pricey there!

And yes! Buy the juvia brushes when you get the chance, they’re honestly amazinggg.

They’re finally opening up a morphe store near me, and i’m so excited, cause i can touch and play with the brushes and see which ones i like and stuff

          April 21, 2018 / 12:08 pm

I didn’t know that morphe had actual store locations! That’s exciting, maybe they’ll come to Canada. Probably not but I can dream 😄

          • April 22, 2018 / 9:31 am

I knew they had one in california, but I never thought they were gonna expand, so i’m super excited about that! Maybe they’ll hit some major cities in canada!
