Hey guys! I’m starting a new series on the blog which I will be updating regularly on my site. I’m always curious about the makeup & skincare stashes that other bloggers & YouTubers have so I decided to share mine! The focus of this post is eye shadow.
em Cosmetics Tokyo Plums Shade Play Surprisingly enough, this was an Ipsy reward! This is one of my favourites when I’m feeling a purple eye look. The quality is somewhere between the my Sephora and Too Faced Palettes.
Sephora Sunbleached Filter Palette This is one of my most reached for palettes. It’s the first product that really got me into makeup when I was shopping at Sephora in Maui. This is a great starter palette, and I do recommend it for girls who aren’t super into makeup but want to experiment. It’s hard to overdo it with this palette as you don’t have the pigment you see in palettes like the ABH Modern Renaissance.
Sephora Wonderful Dreams Palette This was a limited edition Christmas palette in 2015. It’s the one palette I own without a solid place in my makeup routines. I occasionally use the shades Soft Cookie or Chantilly Lace, but the other shades aren’t very pigmented when applied with a brush so I find it hard to use.
Tartelette Tease Palette This palette is a great addition to any travel makeup bag. I don’t use it as much as some of my other eyeshadows, but I still think it’s a great quality palette and you can create a few different looks with these shades. Check out my most recent Cool Toned Everyday Fall Makeup Look!
Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons This is my Most reached for palette currently. I haven’t hit pan on anything yet as it is one of my “newer” palettes. The shadows are great quality, pigmented, and it’s great for every day and there are a couple fun pops of colour.
Eyeshadow Quads + Trios
e.l.f. Flawless Eyeshadow Quads in Blushing Beauty & Golden Goddess I don’t use these as much as I used to, but they are both very pretty and pigmented. E.l.f’s flawless eyeshadow quads retail for $2USD!
Revlon Colorstay Quad I use this quad when I want a “no makeup” look. It’s easy to use and contains all neutral shades. It lasts through the workday with a primer underneath.
e.l.f. Baked Eyeshadow Trio These shades are very shimmery. I don’t reach for them as much as I should.
Giorgio Armani Quad I got this as a gift a few years ago so it’s a little beat up. The mirror as broken off but has a magnetic clasp so it still sort of holds together. The green shade isn’t very pigmented but I love the pink and silver.
INT Cosmetics Single in Goddess Gold This is more of a Rose Gold than a pure gold. It’s a pretty shimmer shade. I used this all month when I first got it from Ipsy. INT Shadows are super affordable for the budget beauty lover!
Lancome Single This gorgeous lilac shade was a Christmas gift a few years ago. It’s the only eyeshadow I own from Lancome. It’s matte and fairly pigmented. I often wear this on it’s own if I’m doing a simple makeup.
Sephora Single in Apple Mojito This eyeshadow single broke! I need to figure out how to put it back together again because I love using it.
The Balm Cosmetics Bahama Mama Bronzer Ipsy has a tendency to send out teeny tiny The Balm samples. This one is technically a bronzer, but the size is more suited to an eyeshadow. I love using this in my crease when I do a natural eye.
The Balm Cosmetics Kuwakaribisha This is a recent edition to my collection. It’s a gorgeous pale shimmer shade that makes a great brow bone or inner corner highlight. I don’t reach for singles often but when I do it’s normally this one.
Model Co Eye Lites This is a glittery liquid rose shade. It’s a bit chunky, the glitter doesn’t cover the lid evenly and so my makeup looks patchy when I apply it.
Marsk Eyeshadow This is a bright gold shimmer shade. It’s gorgeous on it’s own, so I often wear it without anything else on my eyes. It’s very messy to work with and doesn’t blend well with other shades.
Bare Minerals Both of these shades came in a value set with a little brush. The powder is very fine so I find these aren’t as messy to work with as the Marsk pigment. Both apply and blend beautifully. When I use them it tends to be together.
And that’s all the eyeshadow in My Beauty Drawer!
