Hey everyone! Don’t worry, I didn’t forget about my 2019 project pan. I meant to update you guys on how it was going a little sooner but then the months passed me by and it was already May. Almost half the year is gone!
I’ve committed to hitting pan on or finishing a ton of products, so if you want to see what they all looked like at the start of this year you can find that original Project Pan post Here. Let’s see how much progress I’ve made!

Pan that Palette Update #1
Um. So I have made next to no progress on my ABH Soft Glam palette. I’ve been reaching for so many other palettes lately and rotating them so often that I haven’t really focused on one in particular. I guess it’s good because it means that my other palettes aren’t being neglected. Still, I would like to focus on the Soft Glam palette a little more in the coming months.
Spring is such a great time for these warm orange & brown shades and the pinks are lovely when the flowers in the garden start to bloom. I’m going to try to use this palette at least once a week from now on in 2019!
Makeup Update #1
Ok so the two foundations I’ve been trying to finish up are the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation and the ColourPop No Filter Foundation. I really need to get a move on with the ColourPop foundation because now that I’m spending time in the sun my skin is going to tan and this shade will be waaay too light for me.
I’ve been making progress on it though. I have just under half a bottle left! The MUR foundation hasn’t been going nearly as quickly. I’ve only recently started wearing foundation on a regular basis again. Winter left my skin in need of some foundation free days and now that it’s starting to return to normal I’ve been reaching for liquid foundations more. I’m hoping to start using this one again, at least twice a week!
There was a month where I used my e.l.f. Baked blush almost every day! I was getting some serious use out of it but then I feel back into old habits and started using the blushes in my face palettes instead. Unfortunately I haven’t made much progress on my Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush either. I can still see the print design as if it’s brand new!
Blush will definitely have to be a focus for me going forward.
I did make a little bit of progress in the bronzer department. I’m not seeing pan on any of my compacts yet but I did have to repress my ColourPop Private Party Bronzer because it cracked and started breaking apart every time I used it. Even though I’m making progress on it I really don’t like the Private Party Bronzer. The shade is all wrong for me. It doesn’t make me look orange or anything like that but the shade also doesn’t make me look glowy or sunkissed. I wouldn’t be too upset if I didn’t finish it this year.
My mini Becca Sunlit Bronzer (from the Becca Prime, Bronze & Glow Kit) hasn’t been touched recently because it’s a little too dark for my skin tone. Once I get some sun I’m sure the shade will work out better for me and I’ll be using it all summer long.
You can’t see any progress in my ColourPop This Is For You Highlighter Palette but I promise you, I’ve been using it! I’ve pulled it out for a few YouTube Videos and I’ve gotten into the habit of using it at least 3 times a week. The highlighter shades give a subtle glow for work and can be amped up with a wet brush.
I haven’t really pulled out my champagne pop highlighter at all. I repressed it recently and it’s still a little crumbly which makes it hard to apply sometimes. It’s a gorgeous, gorgeous shade so I definitely need to make it work for summer.
Well, I’ve sort of made progress on my project pan lipsticks in that I lost one of them. I can’t find my Tarte Lip Paint to save my life! Does that count as empty? xD
I’ve been wearing my Ciaté Liquid Velvet lipstick on and off but I haven’t finished it yet. It’s the same with my NYX Lip Lingerie Lipstick. I’m hoping I have a better update for you guys soon!
Skincare Update #1
Okay, skincare is where we start to see some real empties & progress in my project pan. I don’t have much trouble using up skincare so I’m glad I included some products to make me feel like my 2019 project pan wasn’t a complete fail.
I “finished” my Hanalei lip treatment in that it was almost done, and then it went through the wash and was pretty much ruined. I think some water got in the tube and then it was just icky so I squeezed the last few drops out and am calling it a day.
I’m still working on my Bite Beauty Agave Kisses set. I realized that I was actually much closer to finishing up the products in my Fresh Beauty Lip Set so I started focusing on those products instead. The lip scrub is much nicer than the Bite one anyways!
Hand & Body Creams
Ok so I completely finished my The Body Shop Mango Body Butter. It was a mini, but still! I was impressed with myself that I managed to finish it less than a year after buying because I’m notorious for forgetting to use body moisturizer. The Satsuma butter is next in line to be used up!
I’ve also been reaching for my Delectable Lemon hand cream from Cake Beauty. It lives on a little shelf beside my bed so I tend to use it in the evenings.
Face & Body Oils
I completely finished the L’Occitane Almond Body oil. Yay! I discovered that I really like using it as a bath oil so I’m thinking about repurchasing a small size if I can find one. My Skin Hero Oil from Fourth Ray Beauty is close to the half way mark.
Are you doing a project pan for 2019?
Thank you so much for reading! Clearly I have a ways to go in my project panning but I’m looking forward to not buying anything new for the next few months (aside from a Boxycharm & FabFitFun box) and just focusing on these products. Share with my your project panning tips!
