Pixi Beauty Rose Infused Skintreats | PR HAUL

Hola beauties! Recently a PR package from Pixi Beauty showed up on my doorstep full of the entire Rose Infused Skintreats line. I saw this travel tote going around influencer’s instagram feeds but I wasn’t holding my breath for this package to show up in the mail. You guys know that I have a very small following in terms of influencers, I’m 1.5k range so I was absolutely stunned when this package arrived. It made my day and if I’m being completely honest, my month.

My husband & I are in the process of purchasing our first home and we agreed that we wouldn’t spend any money until after our possession date in March. Ambitious right? I was wondering whatever I was going to do about blog content but now I have a ton of skincare to test and review for you guys! February is going to be a skincare month on my blog with a few Fourth Ray Beauty products to review and these Pixi Beauty Rose Infused Skintreats!

Pixi Beauty PR Haul | Rose Infused Skintreats

Pixi Beauty Rose Infused Skin Treats

Pixi Beauty Rose Infused Skintreats PR Haul

Okay so this is amazing. I’ve never had a travel toiletry bag like this and I’ll certainly be using it when I go out of town! How cute is the rose design? I really wish that this tote was available for purchase on Pixi Beauty because this is a set that I think would make an amazing gift.

It has a hook to hang on the bathroom door, a green pouch and two full pockets to store my Pixi Rose Skintreats in. Once I’ve reviewed these products I’ll recycle the cardboard packaging. I’ll hopefully be able to fit more travel essentials in here without all that packaging. Even though this tote is something that I consider a travel item the products inside are full sized!

Pixi by Petra Rose Cream Cleanser

Rose Cream Cleanser

The Pixi Rose Cream Cleanser contains mineral rich mud to gently cleanse the skin, avocado and rose to condition & nourish, and camomile and aloe vera to soothe. I love that it’s a cream. It doesn’t lather which makes it more hydrating and less stripping than foaming cleansers I’ve used in the past. The Pixi Rose Cream Cleanser is also supposed to be good for sensitive skin. I’ll definitely be reviewing it next month!

Pixi by Petra Rose Ceramide Cream

Rose Ceramide Cream

I finished my Nuxe 48HR moisturizing cream recently and I wasn’t sure what moisturizer to use next. Pixi chose for me when they sent the Rose Ceramide Cream my way. It contains ceramides and rose oil to nourish the skin.

I wasn’t actually sure what Ceramides were so I did a quick search. According to Paula’s Choice “ceramides are lipids that are found naturally in high concentrations in the uppermost layers of skin. They make up over 50% of skin’s composition [and] play a vital role in determining how your skin looks (and how it responds to environmental threats).” The page also goes on to say that ceramides “hold skin together by forming a protective layer that limits moisture loss and protects against visible damage from pollution and other environmental stressors” — Paula’s Choice

Very interesting! This cream smells lovely and it feels great on my skin. Time will tell how it works over time.

Pixi Rose Tonic & Makeup Meltaway Cloths

Rose Tonic

The Pixi Rose tonic is a toner for Hydrating & Neutralizing/Restoring the PH Balance of the skin. Many of you have probably heard of or used Pixi Glow Tonic before which is a 5% Glycolic Acid toning solution. The Rose tonic doesn’t contain any acids for chemical exfoliation. Instead it works to soothe and calm redness and unhappy skin.

Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths

I haven’t used these Pixi makeup removing cloths yet but this is something that I love to have in my travel bag. I don’t know if these are a new product or an older one because I can’t find these specific makeup wipes on Pixi’s website. They have a similar product with camomile & grape seed oil but not specifically these rose cleansing cloths.

Pixi Rose Glow Mist

Rose Glow Mist

I love face mists! I can never tell if they’re actually doing anything for my skin but they feel refreshing when I use them. I’m currently using two Fourth Ray Beauty Mists so I won’t be using the Pixi Rose Glow Mist on a regular basis yet. I’m happy to have another face mist in my skincare queue.

The Rose Glow mist contains 7 different flower oils and is a bi-phase elixir for the skin. According to Pixi it will moisturize, improve skin elasticity and provide free radical protection.

Pixi Rose Caviar Essence

Rose Caviar Essence

Well doesn’t this sound fancy!? I’m still not completely clear on what the difference between an essence and a serum is. According to some sources essences are thicker while serums are more lightweight… but according to other sources it’s the exact opposite. All I know is that essences & serums usually are targeted towards specific skin concerns, like hydration or wrinkle reduction.

The Rose Caviar essence is supposed to hydrate, soften & tone the skin for a more radiant complexion.

Pixi Beauty Rose Flash Balm

Rose Flash Balm

I haven’t used the Rose Flash Balm yet. It’s supposed function a radiance boosting mask or as a makeup primer. I’ll have to test it out to find out what I like it for best. I think I’m leaning towards the face mask idea but you never know.

Pixi Beauty Rose Oil Blend

Rose Oil Blend

This is a blend of sweet almond, rosehip, jojoba, pomegranate seed, and rose geranium oils. It’s supposed to boost radiance as well as skin elasticity. I’ve been getting into facial oils a lot lately, my favourite right now is the Fourth Ray Beauty Skin Hero Oil. I’m excited to try this rose oil blend!

Makeup Fixing Mist

Makeup Fixing Mist

I’m really excited for the Pixi makeup fixing mist. I recently finished a little bottle of Essence Fixing Mist and I didn’t like it at all so something new is definitely welcome. The Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist promises prolonged wear and a soft focus finish. It contains rose water & green tea!

Please let me know if you’re interested in reading reviews of any of these products. I want to say a huge thank you to Pixi Beauty for including me on their PR list. It means so much to me as a small influencer to be sent a gift of this magnitude. I don’t get sent many releases but I’m grateful for the products I’ve been sent so far. How cool that you got this?! Badass!! And it’s so many products too! You’re set for a while lol. I’m still interested in the rose tonic and the rose glow mist, a lot of people rave about them but I just haven’t made the plunge because their products are a bit more pricey than what I usually buy. I’m fine with my products now but if they’re REALLY good, I want to try them. Cant wait to read those reviews!

Rossy you should totally sign up with Pixi to get their PR products too! They have a brand ambassador sign up on their contact us page, you just put in your address and your blog/instagram/twitter followers. I think you have about the same amount of blog followers as me if not more, I’m sure they’d send you their products to review too if you’re interested!
It just takes a few months for them to get new people in the system.
So far I like the rose glow mist, I’m not sure if it’s revolutionary though. I like the makeup setting mist more!

      • January 30, 2019 / 9:30 am

Oh I didn’t even know that you could apply hahaha I should definitely look into PR lists for other brands like nyx and wet n wild since I purchase their stuff often haha. But thank you! I’ll be sure to look into Pixi’s ambassador sign up! 🤗
I have a rose toner I’m using right now that is really really good, I wonder how different they are, the one I got is from thayers which I also purchased from target, and it’s a massive bottle lol. I’m still excited to read your reviews so I know what to look out more or less 😁

I’ve been trying to find out if other brands have similar programs, so far I haven’t found many. You might be able to email other companies and ask if they have a list you can get on though.
Is that the Witch Hazel one you posted about a while back? I’ve been meaning to try that one if I can ever find it in stores in Canada.
I can’t wait to test more of these products!

          • February 2, 2019 / 9:39 am

I briefly looked into after you told me about the Pixi PR list, and it doesn’t seem like other brands have that in their sites so maybe contact through email would be my best bet.
And yes!! The see-through bottle with the red cap! I really love it! It was very inexpensive for the massive size and its been really good for hydrating my dry winter skin. I hope you can find it!

I think you might have to just email, I couldn’t find many others either 🙁
If I ever see it in stores I’ll pick it up!

          • February 10, 2019 / 11:58 pm

Will do! Thanks for the info though!

Oh wow, the packaging is soooo pretty. All the pink!! I love it & the rose patterned bag was such a nice addition. It sounds like there were lots of natural & interesting ingredients included in all of the products. Hope you enjoy all the goodies & that they all work wonders for you! Congratulations!! ♡

I will definitely be getting use out of the bag beyond posting my reviews 🙂
Thank you! I hope they all work out too!

  3. January 22, 2019 / 11:10 am

omg this is soo cool to receive! I know you’re not the biggest fan of the rose scent, but even then, I know it’s probably cool to test all these amazing products out! I can’t wait to read the full review of these products, I hope they’re as amazing as they sound! Great post Cleia xxx

Thanks for letting me know! I’m also super curious about the vitamin C line. I’ll let you know my thoughts on these products in a later post! Thanks for reading 💖

Thanks Chanelle! The packaging is really nice! I wish that the travel bag set was available on their website though, it’s kind of weird when they make these influencer packages that no one else is able to purchase 🙁

      • January 22, 2019 / 12:36 am

I didn’t realise that, do they sell the complete set you got in stores?

          January 22, 2019 / 1:16 am

All the products are available for purchase, just not the travel case

  7. January 21, 2019 / 6:55 pm

Congrats on the PR package! How beautiful do those products look?! I’ve never tried any skincare from Pixi yet, so I’m curious to hear your thoughts!

Thank you! I love the packaging of their skincare. I can’t wait to try out this skincare line!

  8. January 21, 2019 / 9:06 am

I am so interested to read reviews on these products. I honestly don’t know what to think of Pixi Beauty, they recently released a vitamin C collection and I am tempted to try it but I don’t know if pixie is a good skincare brand in general. Also, if you don’t mind telling me, how did you get into Pixi’s PR list, I know it’s not hard, and you just have to contact them but do you have to have a high number of views to be in their PR list? I really want to contact them but I am scared I’ll get rejected XD

    • AlwaysCleia
      January 21, 2019 / 11:51 am

Thanks for letting me know! I’m also really curious about the vitamin C collection, if we weren’t about to buy a house I would go buy some from that line too.

There used to be a brand ambassador sign up on their website. I’ve had a few people ask me about this so I’ve tried to find the sign up form but I haven’t had any luck finding it again. It might still be there somewhere, I’m just not sure where to look! But you could always try contacting them and ask if that program still exists for new sign ups!

      • January 25, 2019 / 8:47 am

I found it so I signed up!! thanks a lot though, I appreciate it, I hope they’ll consider me!! I’ll probably first try the Rose water toner, cause I heard positive things about it and apparently, it’s good for acne scars and to hydrate, which is what I am looking for.

        • AlwaysCleia
          January 25, 2019 / 10:36 pm

Yay! I’m glad you found it. I’m sure they’ll consider you! It did take me two or three months to be added to the list, so if you don’t see anything right away don’t be discouraged. They also don’t tell you when a package is on it’s way, it’s a total surprise when it shows up lol Oh that’s awesome! I’ll keep that in mind about the acne scars, I can use help with that right now.

          • January 26, 2019 / 7:55 am

ah oki!! good to know, thanks for letting me know!! xx
