Project Pan Update #1 | Fall & Winter 2018

Hey everyone! I meant to update you on how my current project pan is going sooner but it kind of slipped through the cracks. It’s okay, we’ll talk about it now. I have all Fall & Winter to finish these products after all. I kept this project manageable and I’m glad I did. Large project pans are nice but I wanted some freedom to reach for newer products and whatever eyeshadow palettes cross my mind. I loose my creativity when I put too much constraints on what products I use daily. So how am I doing on my Fall & Winter Project Pan? Let’s find out!

Fall & Winter Project Pan Skincare

L’Occitane Cleansing Oil Mini This was from my L’Occitane advent calendar last year. So far I’m not a fan of cleansing oils on my face, but I’ll use it up anyways.

Delia Organics Moisturizing Lotion
Farmacy Green Clean Mini
L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil Travel Size
Josie Maran Argan Oil Mini

Fall & Winter Project Pan Bath & Body Care

Mango Body Butter Mini I don’t know if I’ll actually finish my body butter minis during my project pan but it’s a good reminder to use them. It’s getting drier outside and my skin shows it. I’m going to leave this by my bedside.

Fresh Rose Tint Lip Balm I’m very very close to being finished this lip balm. It’s a little sad because I know I won’t repurchase this when it’s gone because of the price.

The Body Shop Shea Butter Shower Cream I’m almost done this shower gel! I think I can finish it in a few weeks if I use it exclusively.

Fall & Winter Project Pan Makeup

Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Filling Primer

Tarte Aquacealer Concealer I’m slowly making my way through this concealer. It’s taking me longer to use up than my thicker concealers but it’s good that it’s lasted this long. I need to do more cut creases this month with Tarte Aquacealer!

Becca Liquid Skin Perfector in Moonstone I’ve been making an effort to use this highlighter more. I know I’ll miss it when it’s gone, it’s a beautiful non glittery highlight!

Do you have a Project Pan going this Fall?

Overall I think I’ve finished a decent amount of beauty products from my project pan so far. I would love to be finished more of these by the time I post my next update in December, but we’ll see how it goes. I love doing these projects because it encourages me to use up what I have before splurging on something I may not need. Thanks for reading, talk soon xx

You’re doing great!! I like the way you split this up with skincare, body care, and makeup. You picked great products in each category. I forget to use my body butters and lotions too so I try to keep them by my bed side.

      Thank you!
This project is a lot smaller than other’s I’ve done but I actually feel like I’m making progress because of that.
I do that too with the body butters! It works sometimes… I’ve been keeping my lotions beside my spot on the couch too, it seems to work better for me.

I feel like this project pan is going much better than the last one! It probably has to do with the fact that you didn’t have an eye shadow pan? I feel like some eye shadows take forever to use up! Also, I was thinking of getting the L’Occitane advent calendar this year. How did you feel about the one from last year? Great post Cleia xx

haha yes totally, I kept this one smaller so it’s much easier to see the progress! I’ve given up on fully panning an eyeshadow palette, I don’t like committing to using just one thing for months on end.
I liked the advent calendar a lot, I’ve noticed that L’Occitane tends to send out the same products every year so I’m not repurchasing this year. But it was a really great way to try out lots of different things, I especially loved trying their perfumes and different hand creams!

Okay, so maybe I’ll give it a try this year, since I’ve never gotten it before. Thanks for the advice 🙂 xx

Good luck if you do decide to do one! x

So far so good!! Anytime I see a body butter I keep trying to remind myself to get one lol. And I looove love love that fresh lip sugar lip balm too. I haven’t gotten it in years because I can’t justify the price. I go through that lip balm much quicker than the Burt’s bees one.

Lip balms normally take me forever to finish, but the fresh ones go so fast! I wish they lasted longer.

You are doing so well! That liquid highlighter looks beautiful, does it blend easily on the cheeks? I know similar products like that can blend away into nothing.

It does yes! I blend it very lightly with a sponge and it leaves a really pretty sheen. It’s not sparkly either which is a plus 🙂

Nice post, enjoyed reading! I think this is a nice idea, to finish some products, I should definitely try to do it cause I have so many makeup products that I still haven’t finished but find myself buying new ones all the time.

Thanks Joy! 🙂 I love doing these projects, but I try not to use the same things for too long or else I get bored 😄 I love trying new products!
