I told myself I was done shopping until Christmas was over… but then Sephora released new Sephora Favorites sets. And Mike got a job, so we have two incomes now! (Even though this first paycheque won’t be until December xD) I’m going to show you everything I got in this little haul as well as give you an overview of the Sephora Favorites Beauty Sleep Set. In the past I wasn’t fast enough to snap up a value set so this time I made sure to be quick!

Sephora Favorites Beauty Sleep Value Set Review
The Sephora Favorites Beauty Sleep Set contains 8 skincare products meant for overnight use. I noticed that the set disappeared from Sephora Canada this week so I’ve linked to the US version. The set retails for $39CAD ($30US). Sephora doesn’t list a value price for this set, so I calculated it myself, coming up with a value of $125.68CAD!!
GlamGlow DREAMDUO™ Overnight Transforming Treatment Dreamserum & Dreamseal 0.17 oz each $17.25
The full sized version of Dreamduo has both products in the same container with a split in the middle to separate them. The full size product retails for $69CAD and contains 1.36oz of product total.
Dream duo treats dryness, fine lines, and uneven skin texture. That’s perfect for me, it pretty much sums up all my skin concerns. The Dreamserum contains anti-aging antioxidants and vitamins, while the Dreamseal contains hyaluronic acid and mozuku green algae to plump and moisturize the skin.
OLEHENRIKSEN Invigorating Night Transformation Gel 0.25oz $8.53CAD
I’ve never owned a Olehenricksen product before but I’ve heard so many good things about their serums, especially the Vitamin C Truth Serum. This night serum targets dryness, uneven skin tone, dark spots and fine lines & wrinkles. It contains a “multi-source AHA complex” and microalgae.
Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins™ Mineral-Enriched Renewal Cream 0.5 oz $17.06CAD
This night cream is also meant for dullness, dryness, and uneven texture. I can’t justify $58 on a night cream I haven’t tried before so it’s nice to have it included in the set. It contains vitamins C & E and neroli, valerian, and vanilla extracts to help induce sleep.
Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos™ Glycolic Night Serum 0.27 oz $30.24CAD
I’ve been curious about Drunk Elephant since it launched at Sephora but I would never spend over $100 on just one oz of product! I’m happy to have a chance to see what all the hype is about, maybe it really is amazing.
This serum is for dullness, uneven skin texture and minimizing pores. According to Sephora it contains glycolic, lactic, tartaric, citric, and salicylic acids among other things and is blended with raspberry extract.
Kate Somerville +Retinol Firming Eye Cream 0.1 oz $20.40CAD
This is so freakin’ expensive! The full size product is 0.5oz and retails for $102! Goodness eye creams cost a lot of money. I’m almost out of eye cream so this set came out at the best possible time for me. This eye cream contains retinol, bioretinols, and hyaluronic acid.
SUNDAY RILEY Luna Sleeping Night Oil 0.17 oz $22.95CAD
I was so disappointed with Sephora when I got this serum, 1/4 of the sample had leaked! Luckily it was bubble wrapped and I managed to salvage some of the oil, bit I was still really annoyed. It arrived a day before vacation so I don’t have time to exchange the set.
The oil is very expensive full size, 1 oz retails for $135. Crazy! I’m excited to use this because it’s a retinol oil and I’ve been meaning to order a retinol from The Ordinary and never got around to it. Retinol really targets those fine lines and wrinkles so it’s a must for preventative anti-aging. This oil is also supposed to minimize redness & pores and balance the skin with blue tansy and German chamomile essential oils.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day® Night Cap™ Overnight Perfector 1 oz $9.25
Last but not least is a hair product. This overnight hair mask is intended to increase shine and hair vibrancy for up to a week and 5 shampoos. It also conditions and products hair from environmental and styling damage.
I’m curious to try this out on my colour treated hair! I’ve been trying to cut down on how much I shampoo my hair and have been using lots of dry shampoo and alternative shampooing methods like apple cider vinegar, so if this can also help keep my colour vibrant I’m all for it!
I chose another little value set. The First aid beauty cleanser mini is 2oz and retails for $12.50 (I think it used to be $12 a few months ago), so it was worth it to pick up this set for the exact same price and get a 0.34oz First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Moisturizer Mini included! I was planning on purchasing the cleanser mini anyways!
First Aid Beauty Cleanser 2 oz $12.50
This cleanser is fairly gentle on my skin. It lathers slightly and doesn’t have much of a scent that I can detect. My skin didn’t feel stripped after use, but I absolutely needed moisturizer on my skin after cleansing.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Moisturizer 0.34 oz $6
This is a tiny little sample, but I should get a week or two out of it. It’s the perfect travel size. This moisturizing cream wasn’t thick or heavy at all and it absorbed really nicely. It contains Meadowfoam seed oil, shea butter, avocado oil and ceramides and claims to prep the skin for makeup. I will have to test that out myself, but so far so good!
