I got the Sephora Wonderful Dreams Eyeshadow Palette for Christmas, and it’s taken me almost a month to write about it!
I almost wasn’t sure what it was at first because of the packaging design. The outer case slides open on both sides to reveal the shadows inside.
I’ve been using this palette on and off since the holidays. It was a Christmas release for around $15-$20, but don’t quote me on that since I am not the one who purchased it.
Shades Included
Chantilly Lace, Marron Glacé, Crystal Ball, Midnight Swim, Soft Cookie, Toasted Almond, Pretty Sunrise, and Hot Cocoa
Pigmentation/Application:
One thing I would like to point out, which disappointed me was that these shades do not apply well wet. I’ve used Sephora eye shadows before and haven’t had a problem with using them wet, but for some reason this one doesn’t work. You can see the water streaks in Marron Glacé and Midnight Swim where I attempted to do so.
The dark shades really can’t be used as an eyeliner, they just aren’t pigmented enough. When applied dry the matte shades blend alright, but they fade fairly quickly even with a primer.
Favorite shade: Pretty Sunrise.
Least Favorite Shade: Midnight Swim
All in all this is a cute palette and I will get some use of it, but it won’t be an immediate go to for my everyday makeup.
Do you have the Sephora Wonderful Dreams Eyeshadow Palette?
