Hey everyone!! Today’s post is a Beauty Wishlist. As many of you know I’ve been on a No-buy since January 1st. I received some surprise belated birthday money at the start of March so I was able to spend $50 at Sephora on some skincare products I was desperately needing, making this month a low-buy instead of a no-buy month.
We take possession of our new place on March 21st and after the lawyer fees are settled I’ll see where we’re at and maybe start setting aside a small amount of money for new products. On the bright side I’ve been really great about using the products in my 2019 Project Pan lately! If you want to read about all the products that are on my Spring Beauty Wishlist keep reading…
I remember blue mascara being a thing when I was in high school but the trend died out pretty fast. I am SUPER stoked about ColourPop’s new mascara releases, though I’ll be honest I would probably only wear the blue & black shades. I’m also really confused as to why they didn’t release a brown mascara. I ADORE brown eyeliners and mascaras, they less dramatic than a black mascara or eyeliner does. If they ever release a brown mascara I will buy it. For now I want the blue one.
I saw both of the new travel themed palettes from BH cosmetics swatched on Beaudiction’s Channel and I though the formulas looked great! I’ve never tried BH Cosmetics’ eyeshadow formula but I always hear good things about it. My goal this year is to review more affordable brands on my channel and brand out from just ColourPop.
The Love In London palette has a good chunk of neutral shades but instead on one pop of colour it includes a blue, purple, and a silvery grey. Do I need it? Probably not. But it looks pretty and I’m sure I’d get a ton of use out of it if the formula is good.
I don’t know who Daisy Marquez is but her palette is so pretty! The packaging is rather bulky but the color story is enough to make me look past it. I’m obsessed with the mint green paired with bold oranges & yellows and muted violets.
I recently discovered Sydney Grace Co on Instagram through Gandalf Sandwich (I LOVE her, check out her account!). Their shadows look so gorgeous. They’re pigmented and seem to blend incredibly well from what I’ve read in reviews. I’m obsessed with their military named shades, they army green & olive shades are stunning. Must buy.
I’ve been dying to try Pixi’s new line of Vitamin C Products! I shared PR haul not too long ago of their Rose Infused Skintreats line and while I love a lot of the products in it including my recently reviewed Rose Cream Cleanser and Rose Ceramide Cream I’m not actually a fan of rose scented skincare. I’m really curious if the vitamin C products perform any differently. I’m planning on purchasing this set after we move!
I’m a bit salty about this one because Profusion doesn’t ship to Canada. COME ON!!! This palette was featured on Allie Glines’ Channel a few weeks ago and I was obsessed with the look she did with it. I took a look at Profusion’s website and I can’t get any of their products here which sucks because they’re so affordable! I believe that Profusion is sold at Target (which doesn’t exist in my city).
This new pink shade of Killawatt highlighter is one, gorgeous, and two, VERY pink. Total #pinkwednesday vibes. If only it wasn’t $42CAD! I almost never treat myself to full sized expensive makeup but this is one instance that I think it might be warranted.
Dominique Cosmetics Latte Palette
This is finally back in stock at Sephora but it will absolutely need to wait until after the house. I think I’m going to wait for the April Sephora VIB sale as this isn’t a new palette so there’s no real hurry to review it or anything. I might as well get it at a discount!
The shades are beautiful. I love this color story, it looks great for everyday and for a night out as well.
I’ve been lusting over these Jouer Blush Bouquets since they came out. I don’t need more blushes but the packaging is so luxurious, I can’t stop thinking about these. These might be another product that I wait on until the Sephora sale. I don’t need it but I definitely want it!
This product was on my wishlist draft before I knew I would be getting some birthday money, I used it to purchase this serum! These are the product claims on Sephora’s website:
Vegan Marine Plant Collagen: Hydrate skin and makes it appear firmer.
Marine Plant Extracts: Smooths and softens the appearance of fine lines.
Argan Oil: Lightweight, nourishing oil full of powerful antioxidants and fatty acids.
SIGN ME UP! I’m having issues with weird texture and new fine lines, the dryness really takes a toll on your skin. I’ve also had a lot of added stress lately so I’m sure that doesn’t help. I will let you know how it goes when I try it!

I might buy this sooner rather than later because I’m about to run out of eye cream. I love my Kiehls Midnight Recovery Eye Cream but this one from Saturday Skin also has great reviews so I’d love to try it out. My under eye area seems to have aged 5 years this winter, my skin is so dry everywhere. This eye cream is supposed to improve the look of texture and hydrate with hyaluronic acid and Avocado protein.
What’s on your beauty wishlist right now?
I’m going to hold out on most of these until the Sephora VIB sale, I might as well save a bit of money if I can. How’s your year going? Are you on a no-buy/low-buy too? Let me know!
