I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW. I wasn’t supposed to buy from ColourPop for a while because I’m wanting to explore some other brands. But they won’t stop putting out new products and some of them actually appealed to me, so here we are with a Spring ColourPop Haul. Also, I’m back!! After two internet technicians failed to show up to install our modem we switched providers. We went a full 2 weeks without internet and I missed you guys dearly. Now I can get back to my posting schedule!

I had planned to carry on with my no-buy until the end of March but midway through I saw the preview of the ColourPop Spring Collection (check out my Break It Down Post). I don’t want to fall into the trap of crazy spending though so I’m going to alternate low buy and no buy months like Polished & Inspired suggested. This way my spending stays in check and the low buy months feel like I still get to treat myself. If you like hauls you can find all of my haul posts here! Let’s get into my Spring ColourPop Haul…
ColourPop Spring Collection
I picked up three products from the new spring collection. I HAD to get the eyeshadow palette, the color story was calling to me as were the new formulas! And I just had to try out the super shock blushes and Spring lipstick colors.
Not only does the ColourPop Sweet Talk Palette scream Spring to me, it’s the first eyeshadow palette to contain their super shock shadow formula. Albeit there is just one of them in here, but the progress has been made. There are also two pressed glitter shadows for the first time. I’m excited to dig into it and create some Spring-y makeup looks for my Sweet Talk Palette Review!

This hot coral pink shade is gorgeous! it’s a little bold for my everyday tastes but I wanted something vivid and coral to brighten up my makeup looks. I don’t have a colour like this in my collection currently. That’s not to say that this is something we haven’t seen before, but for me it’s new to my collection.
But is it just me or does it seem like there is less lipstick in this tube than other Lux lipsticks?? I could have sword there was more product before the plastic part in my other Lux Lipsticks.
I have enough blushes so I’m not really sure why I got this… I guess I don’t have any blushes that are actually peachy so this is new for me. It is actually much peachier in person, I’m still figuring out the best spot for lighting in our new place. So far I’m not sold on the super shock blushes. I find them hard to apply and then hard to blend out without messing up my foundation.
I’m not going to lie, all I can think about when I see this mascara is Tobias from Arrested Development joining the Blue Man Group. Oh Tobias…
I have a backlog of black mascaras so I decided that if I wanted to try ColourPop’s take on mascara I had to get a colourful one. The only mascaras that really appealed to me were the black and the blue mascara so here we go. I’ll be trying this out over the next few weeks when it’s appropriate.

I don’t have any red lip liners so I decided that I should finally get one. There’s nothing worse than red lipstick moving around on your face. Ok, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, I can think of many things worse than that. But If I can prevent smudging and feathering I thought I might as well try.
The shade Oh Sis looked more red online but in person it’s more of a corally-orange red. Good grief I’m bad with shade descriptions!
I won’t be purchasing all of ColourPop’s monochromatic themed palettes but I certainly felt justified in choosing the Just My Luck palette. I’ve been wanting a green palette forever! I was hoping for a few more meadow-y type shades, but it certainly is pretty. My post on Friday will be a review of this palette plus three looks. I actually received these products a week ago but I’m only getting my haul up now. I also have reviews of the Sol palette & Mar Palette on the ColourPop Reviews section of my blog!
