A few weeks before Christmas The Body Shop had a 50% off sale with free shipping no minimum. I’ve been totally into TBS since my advent calendar and my bath/body collection was starting to run out so I ordered a few things. It was such a good deal!
Banana Shampoo – $5
This smells wonderful! Unfortunately the conditioner that goes along with it was sold out, it was also priced at $5!
Rainforest Radiance Shampoo & Conditioner $5 each
I recently changed up my hair colour so I chose these because they are for dyed hair. $5 is a steal for hair care! I haven’t noticed any dulling of my hair colour since I dyed it so it clearly isn’t stripping my hair.
Vanilla Chai & Satsuma Body Wash $5 each
I tend to buy TBS products as gifts for people but I’ve never actually bought any of their bath products for myself. The Satsuma fragrance is so fresh and fruity, I always pick it for others so I decided I needed this gem on my own shelf. I tried the Vanilla Chai softening hand lotion from my calendar and wanted the shower gel as well. Once again, they are $5 each with the sale!
Coconut & Shea Shower Cream $5 & $4.50
Shower creams from TBS are different from body wash in that they are thicker and more moisturizing to your skin. If you are a coconut lover you will love the coconut shower cream. It’s great for dry skin because it doesn’t strip moisture away like traditional shower gels. The smell makes me want to sip a piña colada and hop on a plane to Hawaii. The Shea shower cream disappointed me because it smells closer to my husband’s body wash than anything I’ve used in the past, but that’s just me!
Almond Conditioning Hand Wash $5
I wanted a fancy hand soap for my kitchen. I like almonds a lot and you can really smell them in this hand wash, it’s great!
Now I’m set in terms of body wash for the next year, maybe more. I still have a basket full of Bath and Body works products! I spent a total of $39.50 + tax on this collective haul and didn’t have to pay for shipping! I call that a success.
