Hello everyone, today’s post is my very first look book style post! You guys are most likely familiar with my 3 look eyeshadow palette reviews where I share different makeup looks you can create with each palette. Today I wanted to share some pink Valentine’s Day Makeup Looks that aren’t in a review format.
I shared with my thoughts on Valentine’s Day in my Break It Down Kylie Cosmetics Valentine’s Day Collection overview, but just to drive the point home… I hate Valentine’s Day. In fact the ONLY thing that I enjoy about a day where businesses capitalize on our love for one another is the soft & romantic makeup looks everyone is wearing on instagram!
Last month I started revamping old blog posts and one of the palettes I was heavily using during this time was the ColourPop Give It To Me Straight Palette. Many of you have already read that review, but I’m going to share the re-created makeup looks that I added to that post. You can check out that review for the eyeshadow shades & application methods I used as well as the lipsticks I’m wearing in each look.
Romantic Rose:
This makeup look has all the rosy Valentine’s Day Feels! It’s actually a cut crease but the lid shade ended up being much darker over the concealer than I thought it would be, so it’s hard to tell that I cut the crease at all. It was a happy coincidence because I love the way it turned out! I’m also starting to get better at applying false lashes. I still have a ways to go but I can see progress π These are my new Esqido lashes!
Blushing Rose:
This is a super simple makeup look with pink eyes and pink lips! I used mostly matte shades with a tiny pop of shimmer in the inner corners of my eyes. I rarely put black on my lower lash line but I felt that it added a little something to the look. It makes this less of a no-makeup/minimal makeup look.
Copper Heart:
So I named these looks completely different in my GITMS review but I felt like re-naming them for Valentines day xD I’m weird, what can I say? This look is still pretty and mauve-y but it has more of a copper theme. The inner corner of my eyes are a white gold and the rest of the cut crease is a coppery oasis. I love how my eyes stand out with a half cut-crease!
Hello Halo:
I’ve shown you a soft pink everyday look, two cut creases, and now I had to include a halo eye. I love how soft this mauve halo eye turned out. It’s not overly dramatic and it has just the right amount of shimmer in the centre. I paired my eyes with a darker lip for this last look.
Also, what do you guys think of my new hair!? These looks were captured fresh from the hair salon, I could never create these curls myself. I like to take advantage of hair-cut days and get lots of blog photos done! I remember doing this when I got my Rogue X Men hair in mid 2017, I photographed so many blog posts that day.
Happy Valentines Day Beauties!
Thank you for reading! I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day if you celebrate it, and a regular February 14th like me if you don’t. How do you do your makeup for V-Day? Do you do anything special? I’d love to know, talk soon! x
Love this!! It has been a minute since I’ve done a look book and they’re so fun to create!! I love all the looks you’ve created but I think #1 and #3 are my fave! They just look super gorgeous!! And I am loving your hair cut too, I’ve been putting my haircut off haha.

Thanks Rossy! I wasn’t planning on doing anything for Valentine’s Day but when I started playing with this palette again I got the idea. This palette makes the prettiest pink looks!
Thank you! I would have put it off longer but I got a gift card to my hair salon for Christmas π
LMAO I wasn’t planning on anything either but same thing happened to me when I tried the Ace Beaute palette! Gotta take advantage of whenever I start getting creative.
But yes, this palette has gorgeous pink shades! I love it and I’m not a huge fan of pink.

You never know when inspiration will strike!
I think I might resubscribe to Boxycharm after we move, I miss getting palettes like this in the mail!
Love the first look even if the cut crease didn’t quite show up. The shades you used are gorgeous! & your new hair looks amazing!

It didn’t really look like a cut crease but I think the concealer really helped the shades to pop! Thank you! π
I love all of these looks even though I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day, haha. They’re all unique in their own way and absolutely beautiful! xx

Thank you! I don’t celebrate either but I love all the fun makeup looks! π
I love your Valentine’s Day looks! That cut crease look is beautiful, although they’re all lovely in their own way! We already talked about this, but we don’t really celebrate V-Day either. I just use it as an excuse to eat a nice meal and dessert/chocolate!

Thank you! They were fun to create.
I might order in for dessert for Valentine’s Day, now that you said that I want chocolate cheesecake!
Gorgeous looks! π

Thank you, it’s a great palette!
Beautiful looks! I’m definitely a fan of all the pink and rosy tones. I basically only care about Valentine’s day for pink makeup looks too. And I enjoy getting together with my friends and eating desserts!
I absolutely love you hair styled this way!

I forgot about desserts, I need to get me some of those next week!
When Valentine’s Day is over I’ll have to start planning a St. Patricks Day look book. Which I also don’t celebrate, I just like an excuse to wear green makeup xD
Thank you! I need to learn how to curl my hair like this!
Agreed!! I’m going to make Tiramisu for my girls night!!

That sounds delicious!
Romantic Rose is my favourite look! Your hair looks so pretty curled, hair salon curls always turn out beautifully <3

Thank you! I need to go to a class to learn how to curl/style my hair, it’s not a life skill that I ever developed lol
These looks are all so beautiful! The pink really contrasts nicely with your blue eyes. Iβm not a Valentineβs person either, so I feel you on that.
Oh, before I forget, I posted my Morphe Jaclyn Hill Dark Magic Palette review today! I remember you said you were interested to read it. Here you go: https://weareglamerus.com/review-morphe-jaclyn-hill-dark-magic-palette/. Hope you enjoy! π
