What’s in my Camping Beauty Bag?

Camping Beauty Bag: Eyes

Hey loves! I’m off with a few friends in the mountains right now for a much needed girl trip away from the city. I don’t think I’ve taken real vacation in over two years and the last time I got a few days off work was Christmas and you know how family is… “You’re free all week? Well I’ve scheduled all this fun stuff to to together EVERY DAY.” Gah. I’m an introvert and I need lots of time to just chill so this week is going to be good for me!

I kind of laugh when I hear about all the stuff some people take camping with them. I get it if you are in a hotel you can plug in your hair tools and do a full face of makeup but I really don’t feel like it when I’m sleeping in a tent. It’s camping, right? It’s the perfect excuse to not be all done up and smell like campfire smoke and drink Baileys & coffee all day. So whats in my camping makeup bag? Let’s find out!

Camping Beauty Bag Skincare

 Camping Beauty Bag: Skincare

  • Aveeno Hydrate and Protect SPF 30
  • Hawaiian Tropic SPF 30
  • Julep Cleansing Balm Stick

Camping Beauty Bag: Makeup

  • Illamasqua Precision Ink: I needed something fairly waterproof since I’ll be at the hot springs all day and every day!!
  • Nyx Brow Mascara
  • Mememe Powder Brush

Camping Beauty Bag: Lips

  • Flower Child Lipgloss from the Fabfitfun Summer Box
  • E.l.f. moisturizing lipstick
  • Nivea SPF 15 Lipbalm

Camping Beauty Bag: Face

  • Jelly Pong Pong Bronzer Blush Duo
  • Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer
  • e.l.f. Moisturizer with SPF 15
  • e.l.f. Undereye Concealer and Highlight

I had such a hard time narrowing it down! I’ve got pretty much one look under my belt. I didn’t bother with eyeshadow. I’ll be too busy tenting, chopping wood, eating smores and swimming. I’m basically going with a “no makeup” look for the whole week!

What do you pack when you camp or travel?? Thanks for reading and as always please give my little internet space some love and go ahead and click those like & follow buttons! Talk soon xx

I never know what to take to trips because I don’t wanna look like I carried bags full of make up but I don’t wanna look dead all day with no make up😂

haha the struggle is real! I ended up packing two makeup bags and I was one of the only people applying makeup in the bathroom in the morning. I don’t really feel ready for the day until I’ve applied at least a little bit of eyeliner and concealer. Do whatever makes you the most comfortable! 🙂

Really liked that last as I’ll be camping in three weeks, however I’m not quite sure what to pack, I just have soooo many products 😀 but I’ll definitely take a lipstick with me, can’t live without it 🙂
Be sure to check out my beauty blog and maybe hit the follow button just as I did 😉

Great items! I love how everything seems lightweight and perfect for Summer weather! I need to try that ELF tinted moisturizer!

    • July 9, 2016 / 10:24 am

I try to avoid super heavy makeup in the summer, I just sweat it off anyways! The ELF moisturizer is a great little travel size for vacation and gives light coverage. I personally found it a little bit hard to blend but it could be just me!! Thanks for stopping by!! 🙂

Nice I will check it out! Did you apply the ELF moisturizer with your fingers, brush, or sponge? And no problem I love supporting fellow bloggers!

        • July 9, 2016 / 10:29 am

I was using my fingers on this trip but I’ve tried a brush as well. I think a sponge might be the way to go! Thank you so much! 🙂
