Hey lovelies! Today’s post is exciting for me because it’s in collaboration with Aisha from Blooming Haaya! We’ve been following each other for a while now through our blogs and instagram and it’s so cool that we’re able to connect because she lives in South Africa! Isn’t it incredible how we’re able to meet and connect with people from opposite sides of the world? We are literally separated by an ocean.
Both of us are sharing on our blogs today what products are new in our makeup bags, which is the perfect topic because I’ve been testing out quite a few new things lately. Please go ahead and check out Blooming Haaya to see what’s new in Aisha’s makeup bag!
What’s New In My Makeup Bag
My intention with this post isn’t to turn it into a huge haul. I’ve purchased quite a few new products lately, some of which you’ve already seen reviewed and some of which you haven’t. Instead of showing you everything that’s new these are the products that I’ve added into my daily makeup rotation.
Glossier balm dot com
Balm dot com was such an easy product to add into my makeup rotation. Glossier’s Balm Dot Coms are also called “Universal Skin Salves”. They can be used to soothe chapped skin, cuticles, etc. but some of them do have a shimmer or tint to them. I picked up the birthday version and I’m fully intending to keep wearing it as a lip balm. Birthday smells amazing, I almost want to eat it! It smells like icing which is decadent and delicious.

Sydney Grace Cosmetics Eye Shadows
I can’t even convey to you guys how obsessed I am with my Lemon Cream matte shadow from Sydney Grace Cosmetics. It’s lemon perfection and I had so many people tell me that they never considered wearing yellow eyeshadow until they saw me wearing this shade! Lemon Cream is gorgeous, as are the other 5 shadows I ordered.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of the shades from SGC and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future. If you haven’t heard of them you have to check them out! The shadows are affordable just like ColourPop and the selection is unreal.

Becca x Chrissy Glow Glosses
I had a stroke of luck recently and found a holiday set of Becca Glow Glosses on sale at Marshalls for $15. You guys are probably so tired of hearing about these, I’ve talked about them in at least three other blog posts recently, including 5 Amazing Lip Colors for Sumer. This has quickly become my favourite lipgloss formula and I don’t leave home without at least one of these glosses tucked into my purse. I need to shop more at Marshalls and less at Sephora!

ColourPop Uh-Huh Honey Palette
The ColourPop Uh-Huh Honey palette is new in my makeup rotation! It arrived in the mail earlier this week and I’ve been experimenting with all the yellow shades. I’m still formulating an opinion on the palette as a whole but so far the formula hasn’t let me down. I also picked up one of their BFF eyeliners and a brown creme gel liner.
I replaced my Peaches & Cream Lashes from Esqido this Summer with a few different lash styles that were on sale. I chose the styles Chocolate & Caramel, Apple & Cinnamon, and PB & J. All three look very natural and wispy, I can’t wait to wear all three of them!
What’s new in your makeup bag lately?
Some products that I think are worth an honourable mention even if I’m not wearing them consistently are the ColourPop So Juicy Lip Gloss and Blue Moon Palette, as well as the Glossier Niteshine Concentrate. I’ve been testing out all three products but they still haven’t become products that I always reach for!
I hope you enjoyed this glimpse into my makeup bag. If you like these kinds of posts make sure to check out Blooming Haaya! Her photography is beautiful and she’s all around a genuine, lovely person. Please show her blog some love! Talk Soon x
